Water Quality Pilot Study Free Water Testing Available
A project funded by the North Dakota State Board of Agriculture Research and Education will allow 28 producers in Bowman County the opportunity to establish baseline water quality value free of charge. One water sample from a well, pond, or river will be evaluated and additional water samples can be collected and analyzed for a fee of $25.00 per sample. 2013 Annual City Clean Up Week The Annual City Clean Up Week will be held
May 13th thru May 18th Snow Dates: May 20th thru May 25th
Landfill Hours: Mon.–Fri.: 10:00 to 6:00 & Sat. 10:00 to 4:00 Acceptable Items: Wood, Furniture/Carpet, Metal, Asphalt Shingles, Appliances (Those containing freon must be pumped & appliance must have sticker stating this has been done.) The above items are accepted this week only at no charge. Tires are accepted for a fee. The fee is determined by tire size. You may bring your items to the landfill, or have the city pick them up. For City pickup you must call (523-3309) prior to May 10th and get your name on the pickup list. On May 13th, City employees will begin picking up items on the east side of town and move to the west side of town during the week. I wish to say “Thank You� to those who sent me flowers and cards during my long siege of illness. From the 911 Crew that flew me to Bismarck, those at the Hettinger hospital, then to the next staff at the Bowman hospital. A special Thanks to Pastor Olsen, Strand and Swanson for the visits to the different hospitals. I am happy to say that I am improving every day; and made my first venture to Rhame for Church on Sunday.
