Local couple brings international flavor to Oregon BY BREE LAUGHLIN The World

Chris and Liz Hendrickson have taken their love for the culinary world and brought it into a new realm. They go by the old saying, "If you can't grow it or farm it, you probably shouldn't eat it.” Both Chris and Liz come from families of professional cooks and bakers. Chris said food is part of his ancestry. “The Hendrickson’s were part of the East India Spice Company,” he said. The love for food and spices has trickled down many generations – to his grandparents, his father, and now to him. Food has also played a big part in Liz’s family.
