New family-owned Christian bookstore lands in North Bend BY BREE LAUGHLIN The World
Ezekiel’s, a new Christian bookstore and bakery in downtown North Bend, is a longtime goal come to fruition for Glenda Lanza and her family. “I’ve always wanted to have a Christian bookstore and bakery, and it’s finally now coming to life,” Glenda said. The small business is a true
family endeavor. Ezekiel’s is owned by Glenda and her husband Mike Lanza, as well as her son and daughter-in-law Mikey and Kaitlyn Turner. Glenda said the store name, Ezekiel’s, is named-after not only the prophet in the Bible – but also a new addition to the family – her grandchild Ezekiel. The Christian bookstore offers bibles, commentaries and books,
as well as a special room that has products geared for children. They also have retail items including coffee cups and Christmas items, as well as home décor, Ezekiel's continued on page 5 Photo by Bree Laughlin
