back to the previous rules, that is ask for permission for the rally wanted outside your area. And a reminder that Groups not CoM decide if a rally is bookable. Restrictions may be in place due to venue or catering arrangements. Each Group has a supplementary document which will state reasons for doing so.

CoM had their first face to face meeting for over a year in November. National rally committee announced the fees for the June National at Stafford Showground. £18 per night with a £2 reduction for single occupancy and that includes 4 nights entertainment. There will be an option of 3 coach trips at additional cost. It was also agreed that there would be no subscription increase next year, think we have all been through enough! Linda Slatford I have to notify the sad passing of Linda Slatford, wife of Alan. We the Essex members send condolences to him and family after her long battle with cancer.
Brian Shaw We have just been informed of the sad passing of our ex Chairman, President of the Essex Group, Brian Shaw, after a long illness. He will be sadly missed, all our condolences to Carol and family at this sad time. Bob Thorne, Essex Chairman
Steve Wilson Essex group members have to notify the sad passing quite unexpectedly of Steve Wilson, who was a new member, but attended with Sandra as many rallies as they could. He was actually on his way to a rally and became unwell. We send our condolences to Sandra and his family at this sad time.
Damian Gallagher It is with great sadness that I have to report the unexpected passing of our Treasurer, Damian Gallagher, after a short period of illness. Although new to the MCC, Damian stepped forward and took on the role of Treasurer at a time when we had difficulty in forming a committee. In doing so he helped

Congratulations to November’s winners: Mr PS Withham, Anglia; Dr PL Walker, Yorkshire; Mr T Averill, West Wessex; Mr P Waymont, Essex; Mr GA Voss, East Midlands to ensure the group continued, which we all greatly appreciate. He will be fondly remembered for the sight of the mobile garden perched on his van's cycle rack, full of herbs, flowers and strawberry plants.Our thoughts are with his wife Carolyn and their family.
