Dear Covenant Family,
t n a n e v Co Strong
@ co v en a nt
The amazing part of BK is that this movement was born in the field. During a recent visit to the field, John Cavitt, CEO, asked what we could do as an organization to take our safety culture to another level. Field personnel brainstormed and came up with a program where we go the extra mile to look after one another in the field and named it Brother’s Keeper. This idea was then taken to Field Supervisors and Field Managers for their input on what a Brother’s Keeper means to them. Their answer? A Brother’s Keeper is someone who commits to, or makes a Covenant to do the following:
COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY
RECOGNITION ACCOUNTABILITY
We are looking for volunteers to sign up to become Brother’s Keepers and take up the shield to protect themselves, their co-workers, and the communities they live and work in daily.
We will also be looking for nominations of your peers who show a daily dedication to the Brother’s Keeper Four Covenants. Please send these nominations to: BK@ctest.com. We will be running a BK section in the monthly newsletter to recognize high performers. Be on the lookout for more BK news and swag hitting your Region in the coming months. As Director of Assets and Service Excellence, I am personally signing up as a Brother’s Keeper to protect our greatest assets – our employees. There is nothing more important than keeping our CTT family safe, so they can both provide for and return home safely to their loved ones. Will you accept the challenge join me and carry the Brother’s Keeper shield?
PAT LARKIN,
Director of Asset & SERVICE EXCELLENCE

GREELEY DOES GRUb •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
This wasn’t your average shift change! Recently, the Northern Division was invited to drop in for a tasty Food Truck meal at the Greeley shop. Some chose to grab-and-go and others had time to stay and catch up. In addition to a thank you card from the VP and a new hat, cold drinks and gourmet burgers did the trick to encourage one another and build up the team. Thanks to those of you who came out (despite the sun)! And, way to go to Amy Pacheco and team for pulling it all together. This is what Covenant Cares is all about, creating a space where the Covenant team can build a #CovenantStrong family.
- AWESOME WORK AT OXY These Testing Operators have worked hard to build a strong working relationship with Occidental Petroleum (OXY) in Carlsbad, NM. They have accepted every challenge put in front of them. Putting together a team of this size and experience is what Covenant does best in order to meet the satisfaction of its customers.
Thanks for representing us well!

Another way Covenant gives back to the community is through the Intern Program. This Summer, seven college students fearlessly jumped in to learn and grow at the Sugar Land office. They coded and compiled data from financial reports for investors, they participated in Covenant Cares community outreach efforts in the field, they generated equipment drawings on Autocad, participated in job fairs, safety trainings and visited well sites. These guys worked hard and also played hard – they even played on the office soccer team. These seven were full of curiosity, asked amazing questions and have a bright future ahead. Investing in future generations takes time and intentionality, but we believe it is an important part of our day-to-day operation.
Best wishes as you return to school, interns! Covenant Ladies
In recent months we’ve hosted Ladies Lunches in Sugar Land and Midland to both spread the word about Oil Wife Life and to show our appreciation for the amazing women who are a part of our Covenant Family. We will be coming to the other regions soon. In the meantime, check out www.OilWifeLife.com for some practical resources for women who either work for or have married into the oil field.

Car los M eraz & Sau l Ar ias Production Operators, Northern Division We would like to recognize Carlos and Saul for their quality responses in an unusual circumstance. A young driver ended up sinking his vehicle in a fresh water pond after being discovered trespassing on a location. Carlos and Saul contacted local authorities and first responders while tending to the man as he was swimming out of the sinking vehicle. The officers recognized them for keeping the young man calm and safe. They later found out he was listed as missing/endangered. This quick action kept both the young man and the location safe and secure.
Thank you for your exemplification of Covenant Core Values in this situation. Well Done!

Administrative Assistant, Southern Division - Midland, Texas Sable has a huge heart for Covenant and her Covenant family. She frequently impresses those she works with and goes out of her way to ensure things are running smoothly. She recently moved, and her commute time has increased from just a few minutes to an hour. Despite the increased commute time, she said that she would have it no other way as she loves Covenant.
Sable, thank you for your hard work and dedication. We appreciate you!
With over 700 Covenant trucks on the road, keeping our drivers and other drivers safe is top priority. Families matter, and accidents affect many more people than just the driver. Drowsy driving and overall fatigue from lack of regular rest is a real issue for field workers. Make it a daily priority to eat right and get rest. You are the key to your safety!
