Full scale is expressed as Examples
Real Object
Scale down
Escala de reducci贸n
When object is too large to fit on the paper. Drawing
Real Object
Smaller
We indicate scale down: Number greater than 1
Letter E Number 1
Colon
We divide all the dimensions of the real object by the number of the scale Dividimos todas las medidas del objeto por el n煤mero que indica la escala
Examples we divide by two drawing is half the size of the real object
Hammer
we divide by ten drawing is tenth of the size of the real object
Door
Scale up
Escala de ampliaci贸n
When object is too small to see it in detail. Drawing
Real Object
Bigger than
We indicate scale up: Letter E Number greater than 1
Number 1
Colon
We multiply all the dimensions of the real object by the number of the scale
Examples we multiply by two drawing is twice the size of the real object
TIPEX
we multiply by ten drawing is ten times as big as the real object
