It was a great morning, which included a session with the Youth Police and Crime Commissioners for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to discuss Hate Crimes and Incidents, but also included several inspiring presentations from students across the island p p g y hool on Saturday 28th January.

We were joined by staff and students from St George's School, Ryde School, Christ the King College, Medina College and Carisbrooke College. Our own EARA and Equality Committee students also positively engaged others with their own presentation of their great work and plans for the future.

They confidently shared our personal value to 'Be Inclusive' and how this relates to our everyday work here at CEC.

They were excellent hosts, and we look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with Island schools moving forward.

Even though there were over 20 participants, Grace and Velimira managed to win highly commended delegates awards for the roles they undertook in their committees.
