On 1st March, ESRA and #WeWill committee students represented CEC well when participating within the OAT multi-academy virtual workshops to raise awareness of inclusion and diversity.

Students began the day by joining in with an icebreaker task - inclusion and diversity human bingo.

We were privileged to have been joined by 3 guest speakers, all young people who are ambassadors for inclusion and diversity due to their own personal experiences We had the opportunity to ask them questions and discuss how we could encourage similar conversations within school and with our friends/family.

Throughout the day, students contributed to an awareness poster, also participating in a sign language lesson from 19 year old Ciara who has cerebral palsy and has communication barriers.
