Students and faculty celebrated the 6.9 million dollar goal achieved thanks to donor support for Cox College!

Impact. It’s what you have in your power to do. The decision to launch a fundraising campaign for Cox College to renovate its 1956 facility was made after all other options had been exhausted. Reconfiguring did not allow additional students to be safely placed in existing classrooms. A new campus was out of budgetary reach at $40 million or more. Despite great marketing of an outstanding reputation with above national average NCLEX pass rates, recruitment rates were dropping. The Cox College campus had lived a great life, but like all lives well-lived, there is ultimately an ending to the story. Today a bright chapter begins as the doors to the NEW Cox College open. Impact is defined as having a strong effect on someone or something.

That is exactly what donors to Cox College have had on the students and future of this institution. In fact, the impact is so great in this renovation project, it is nearly immeasurable! How do you quantify the number of lives a graduating student will touch with care and compassion once they leave Cox College? Multiply it over and over now that the renovated facility allows Cox College to go from 250 to 400 nursing students. Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Radiography, and the Health Sciences all have dedicated spaces that allow for growth. The potential to address health care professional shortages is not a thought, it’s in action at Cox College. As we age as a nation and health care demands grow, our students

will be helping to fill the gaps and provide the care that will change and save lives. Your gift allowed an outstanding organization to have the facility that matched the excellence of the education being provided inside it. That’s the IMPACT your kindness and generosity had on Cox College. Thank you for your investment in our students, our future and our ability to continue to impact lives through the skills our students will share with the patients in their care.
