Liko Qokela

Liko is CPUTs head cheerleader and Student representative of the CPUT Dance Society. Liko Qokela is a vibrant performer who lives out her talent through her innovation, creativity and positive student approach. She always focuses on positive student engagement and is consistent with motivating students to reach their full potential. She always works with diligence, honesty and integrity and it is a pleasure working with her.

NOMINEE Anande Kuse

NOMINATED BY Mohamed Ally

Anande is among the top 3 junior Table Tennis players in South Africa. She is the number 1 ranked woman in the CPUT Table Tennis Club. She recently donned the national colours of South Africa at the 2022 African Junior Table Tennis Championships were the team returned with a bronze medal. She is also a member of the Western Province Table Tennis team that will compete at the South African Championships in Durban in October 2022.

NOMINEE Sinoxolo Ndayi

Sinoxolo is a CPUT first Team Netball player who was selected to represent Western Province B Team at the Spar SA Netball Championships during August 2022. She has steadily improved over the years from junior to senior ranks. She is a versatile mid-court player and a team leader on and off the court. She recently led the CPUT first Team to an emphatic victory over UWC in a hardfought duel during the 2022 Western Cape Intervarsity. She is a disciplined, hard-working and courageous individual. She encourages those around her through her positive attitude and actions. Sinoxolo is a final year Sport Management student at CPUT. She has developed into a strong leader during her time at CPUT, a role model to her peers and a great asset for Sport at CPUT.

She plays for the Senior Springbok Women’s team. Captain of Border Women’s rugby who are champions of the Interprovincial Tournament. She recently won the EC Sport Star of the year.
