Introducing Mitchell Weatherill The initiative is part of our commitment to the Aboriginal community to offer an opportunity to local Aboriginal community members to have access to and gain valuable work experience and knowledge in natural resource management, and to better understand cultural landscapes, places and materials in the Cradle Coast region. Securing a recognised qualification and gaining practical, hands-on experience in areas such as wildlife habitat and natural area restoration, weed and pest control and Aboriginal land management practices, will hopefully provide Mitchell with the foundations for a future career in the conservation and land management sector.
