Valentine’s Day is
for
everyone to celebrate!
Being so close to Family Day, we thought what better way to celebrate love than with our families. Mom and dad Suzanne and Gord, and daughters Evelynn and Sydney are big fans of sweet treats, so we asked them how they’ll be celebrating Valentine’s with Crave.

Sandwich Cookies, Sprinkled with Love
Whether you’re a pro in the kitchen or learning a new skill, these Valentine’s themed sandwich cookies are sure to have you hooked. Mix and match your cookies and buttercream for a combination that you’re sure to love.
Valentine's Sandwich Cookies
Ingredients:
Crave Cookie Dough (your choice of flavour) Crave Buttercream (your choice of flavour) Valentine’s sprinkle mix
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (170°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Remove buttercream from the freezer and allow it to come to room temperature.
3. Place frozen cookie dough on a baking sheet about 2” apart.
4. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
5. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
6. While the cookies are cooling, scoop the buttercream into a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer or mix for 5 minutes or until it is light and fluffy.
7. Once the cookies have cooled, scoop your desired amount of buttercream between two cookies. Place them together with the buttercream towards the middle, squishing until the buttercream is just over the edge of the cookie.
8. Roll the edge of the sandwich cookie through the sprinkles. Enjoy!
