12th September, 2017 Reflection Sometimes I feel bewildered by the world Father, Sometimes I feel bewildered by the world. I don't understand how there can be such richness beside such poverty. Help me to be generous and thoughtful of others. I feel upset when I hear others cruel words or see hatred or prejudice. Help me to be loving and accepting of all I meet. Sometimes I feel down about the pressure on young people to succeed. Lord, in this confusing world help me to look to you and stay hopeful and happy Amen
Dear Parents and Students, A Reflection on Spring Spring is a good time to clear all the clutter from our lives. It’s sometimes called spring cleaning. To do this we need to think about what is cluttering our lives, what is stopping us from being the student, the teacher, the parent or the friend we could be. Our ‘clutter’ could well be a relationship that’s in a mess and needs to be sorted, an issue we need to face or a bad habit that we need to ditch. Whatever it might be – this is the time to sort it, clear it out, to let go and to start again. As the days get longer and the weather becomes milder we have a sense of hope; a sense that the old can indeed be left behind and that change is possible. 2018 Re-enrolment In accordance with the Federation of Catholic Regional Colleges policy, families are required to state their intention to have their child continue at the College in 2018. This information helps the College plan for the 2018 school year. The process also enables the College to comply with a CEM requirement regarding enrolment data which is due early Term 4, 2017. Information regarding Re-enrolment will be sent out through CareMonkey this week. If your child will not be returning to the College in 2018, you are required to complete an Exit form which is available from Reception. A timely return of the Exit Form will assist the College in making decisions about new families applying to join the College community in 2018. Mark Sheehan Principal
