21st July, 2015 Reflection Reflection "Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light." Matthew 11:28-30

At our school assembly last Thursday College Captains Bowde Griffith and Tegan Lafranchi presented a cheque for $2935.31 from Celebration Day fundraising to Orygen Youth Health Services. Orygen Youth Health (OYH) is a world-leading youth mental health program based in Melbourne. It has two main components: a specialised youth mental health clinical service; and an integrated training and communications program. The College has been working closely with Orygen across a number of year levels and with staff. Richard Bell, Clinical Psychologist accepted the cheque for Orygen and was very grateful of the generosity of our students. He spoke of the importance of looking after and supporting each other. I received the following email from Richard the next day- A big thanks to you, your teachers and students.
