We have installed bike racks outside the Gym and Year 7 Block but cannot be responsible for the security of the bikes. Students must bring locks and lock their bike to the rack during the day to deter any interference with them. John Christie Deputy Principal (Staff)

Lote Excursion On Friday the 7th of June all Year 8 Indonesian students went on an excursion to the Melbourne Zoo. When we arrived at the zoo we got a little booklet written in Indonesian with questions about the different Indonesian animals located in the zoo. Working in groups, we had to complete the booklet by translating the questions and answering them in Indonesian within a certain time. Heading back to our meeting point, we all gathered together for lunch followed by free time to visit the other animals at the zoo. It was a great day and well worth the trip. Chloe Galakos 8 Catherine On Friday the 7th of June, the Year 8 Italian students were given the opportunity to attend a tour of the Immigration Museum in Melbourne. One of the tour guides then gave us an introduction about the history of immigration and informed us of where each section of the museum was. We were then split into 4 groups and handed small booklets with questions for us to complete throughout the tour. I found that it was very informative and an interesting experience. Following the tour we walked down Lygon Street and took a look at the different shops and places. We then headed to COASIT, the Italian Resource Centre. We were given another booklet to complete that helped us understand all the information being provided. The Year 8 LOTE Excursion was fun and a great educational experience. Alison Vasjuta 8 Catherine Fathers Day Communion Breakfast 2013 A Fathers Day Communion Breakfast will be held on Saturday 31st August commencing with Mass at 7.30am and followed by a home cooked breakfast in the Parish Centre. He was on the BBC platform for the election of Benedict XVl. In 2006 he was created a Companion of the General Division of the Order of Australia (AC), the highest civil honour granted through the government of Australia. This is an event not to be missed.
