WELCOME To the second Rockstart Answers Eindhoven edition. ‘Two years ago, when attending a big conference for entrepreneurs, I was sitting in the audience, listening to a keynote. Everybody around me was working on their mobile devices. That didn’t make sense to me. I thought it was a wasted opportunity to actually do something. To use our knowledge, make new connections. What is the best go-to-market strategy? Before defining your go-to-market strategy, define your urgence. Clarify your pitch. Do not reinvent the wheel. Consider offering iZooble as an add-on to an existing network, app-market or webshop. If you decide to stay independent, focus on a niche, and keep your product relevant in the by irrelevance intoxicated world wide web.
How to determine if my freemium model is the best? You need more users to get an answer to this question, Swaip. Provide all users with free premium features, to test their appetite and find out how much they will pay for it. Same here: focus on a niche for which your offer is super relevant. Avoid trying to reach everybody for a start.

What are other revenue channels? We advise One Penny to get sponsorships from organizations that support startups & entrepreneurship: government bodies, companies, schools. Offer corporate accounts to grow from pennies to pounds. Try to get ‘free hours’ from service providers like KPMG, which you sell (paid credits) as expert help to One Penny users. But here applies: grow your user base, before making assumptions that might not fly.
How do we solve the driver privacy problem? Good pitch, great product, Carmera. Is there really a privacy problem? Make sure you talk to the right people at your prospects. Provide a protocol with your product. Highlight the added value in safety and cost savings. Find partners who are ahead in “big brother”, Carmera will be a small next step, instead of a giant leap. Innovate, create solutions for manufacturers: safe cars, cheap insurances. Protect your stakeholders, drivers. Talk to them. Test your product and service with your target users. They will get used to it. And love you for it.

How do we get ‘Play Like Messi’ in every living room? Everybody loves Play Like Messi, BUT: have you already tested this game with your targets? Option 1: Co-develop with / sell the idea to EA. Option 2: do it yourself, together with a VC and an indie game developer. If you choose Option 2, go viral at the 2014 World Championship. Provide the entire Oranjelegioen with this game in Brazil, make an impact. Make sure you quickly register the intellectual property. If you can prove a health solution, involve governments and schools. You have a promising idea!
