Cheryl Price, Development Officer, tells Our Goole what is involved in becoming a volunteer and the brilliant benefits. What is a typical day like? Volunteers have the opportunity to learn new skills, not just in horticulture, but in customer service, cash handling and retail, and it is a great way to meet new people. Who is an ideal fit? The unemployed, semi-retired, retired and young people. What other ways can people help support your organisation? BECOME A TRUSTEE We are currently seeking additional Trustees to join our Board, who would have an interest in contributing to shaping our organisation. Page 6
PLANT OR GARDEN DONATIONS We would love donations of unwanted houseplants, outdoor plants, seeds, compost, gardening tools, power equipment, ceramic outdoor or indoor pots, vases, wooden or metal planters, garden seating. FUNDRAISING FOR US Would you or your group be willing to fundraise for us? A sponsored walk or bike ride, or making and selling craft items.
