At Theory Hair Studio, owner Jamie Lee Kavanagh believes in creating an experience; one that merges modern day luxury with a bit of boho, comfort and calm. The salon design was inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the salon itself – the village of Killenard which is home to The Heritage Hotel luxury resort. “We wanted to provide a space that was warm and welcoming, bright and airy, professional and friendly, with a touch of boho chic,” says Jamie. The island sections allow plenty of light but also plenty of privacy, while the use of colour rather than muted tones keeps it relaxing and remaining rmly within the boho aesthetic. Richard Barry of Xpert Professional worked closely with Jamie in helping scale out and plan around the ergonomics of the building to deliver maximum space, while guiding the choice of furniture designs and shapes to complement the theme.
