EDITOR'S LETTER
Did you notice something different about this issue? Yes it's about the MEN this month. It seems like they really have stepped up their game. From poets to singers to event producers we’ve included a plethora of categories, I really am delighted to be able to feature so many of them. You've also noticed our fashion section puts the emphasis on designer Jose Jhan who has not only presented at the San Juan PR Fashion Week but also just released his lookbook shared by photographer Herbert Tucker. We also highlight a man that is a true believer of LOVE. Through his words our readers will have a clear understanding that Men do hurt as well. We are lead to believe most of the time that men shouldn't cry, that they shouldn't have feelings and they should "man up" stereotyping gender characteristics such as strength is male and emotions are female. Well I say bullocks! I am glad to have found a man such as Adrian Carter who took the time to shed a light to this dark idea and therefore opening our eyes to the reality. Moreover, we meet an aspiring Chef who is on the road to success. Also I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, we have increased the number of issues of our magazine we put out per year and reduced the pages making it easier and more affordable to print. Trust me we are on your side! We are excited to present our 14th issue to you full of goodies and beautiful men for the ladies to look at. Wink!! We can never forget the minds that continue to donate their time and work to this labor of love. We have survived three years and we are confident that there is so much to come. Enjoy our 14th issue.

LIBNI "Imagination and creativity were my outlet to dealing with different situations from the good, the bad, and even the real ugly. "
We've had the utmost privilege of meeting some of RAW ARTISTS Miami's brightest at their latest event held at REVOLUTION. We caught up with a beautiful soul , Libni is her name and she is an amazing artists who expresses herself through her paintings. What follows is a conversation with her getting to know what she is all about.
"Feeling like an outsider helped me be more attached to art. If art was a person , he or she had me from a young age of 6 in a head lock where I couldn't let go even if I wanted too. Imagination and creativity were my outlet to dealing with different situations from the good, the bad, and even the real ugly. " When did you first join RAW? I first joined February of this year. What is a RAW experience for you? Raw as in the show, or something that is untamed by rules of man? Something that is untamed is ones creative mind, where rules can be broken and imagination is let loose. There in some corner of my mind lays logical thinking and order, however; more common is the raw need to create something with depth and feeling. Not some pretty imagery that means nothing. In the words of Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot “My little gray cells” are ticking every time I put a brush to paint. As for the show, it was like a nightlife splash of color, loud music, and exploring ones self with art, and drinks. It was chance to meet new people and speak about my work, which is always a highlight to any show I showcase at.
As an artist where would you like to see your art in 5 to 10 years? Not really sure, I try not to think so much on what will happen, more on what I need to do now. Don’t get me wrong, I do want people of all walks of life to enjoy my work in whatever form that may take, however; I’m still in the moment trying to find my self as an Artist. Do you have process when you design or do you do it solely on emotions? I mostly sketch first, draw out some of the design elements, so I have a feel for where the ideas will take me then I let my mood or emotion take over while during the painting process. Is there any famous artist that inspire you and why? If I begin naming artist there wouldn’t be enough room on this document to fit it all.

MEN HURT TOO
ADRIAN "LOVEBOOK" CARTER
S
erendipity is the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. Whit this said, the universe has funny way of connecting people in the oddest of places. I have first met Adrian at a RAW Artists Miami Event where he mentioned that his talent was spoken word. At that time the magazine was still trying to make a name for itself. Little did I know that our paths would cross again. I recently attended a poetry event where he was the principal character. I didn't know that I was in for a treat. Adrian surely left his heart on the stage, the audience couldn't be more pleased. His presence alone demanded silence and as he began to speak it was nothing but snaps and applauses. His latest release of the “Lovebear’s Heartstrings” album is a series of songs and spoken word pieces which touch the heart and also motivate. Adrian not only is an eloquent poet but also an author. Look out for his new book “Songs of Adrian”, a love masterpiece complementing his "Lovebook" series. In the next few pages, what follows is a conversation with Adrian “Lobebook” Carter. It is simply a delight to get to know the person behind these words of enchantment.
SONG OF ADRIAN 3rd edition of the Lovebook Series
When in love, the sensual touch between lovers evoke a depth of emotion and connection that can only be perfectly aligned between spirit, soul, and body. Song of Adrian swoons into these feelings of Eros love through poetry, showing appreciation and tenderness for his female lover. The word play is foreplay that deeply caresses the heart into deeper depths and higher heights in that sacred space shared between perfect lovers, flowing with passion, romance, and eroticism.

Adrian you are Motivational Speaker. Philanthropist. Sound Engineer. Educator. Event Planner and a Consultant and to add to that you are an author and poet. Can you please tell us what you associate to the most?. I was mentored for most of my life by a very eclectic group of people who demonstrated how to use multiple mediums by which to teach and learn. I was taught to think critically from the lessons taught, learned how to act in plays, be a playwright, write and produce songs, and speak publicly. So I really identify with each component of my “figure 8 life. Each component feeds the other. I educate and create introspection as a poet, making it a motivational experience. I was also taught to be a giver of my resources and my time, lessening the focus on money and heightening the focus on allowing God to give back to you in due season. Also, as an artist I think the most effective thing you can do is put your work in a sustainable format such as a book or CD. Twenty years from now, or even 50 years from now, someone can read that book or play your album, giving you an opportunity to impact a new generation of people in the future. Being a sound engineer gives me the knowledge base to do just that.
We’ve recently acquired your newly released CD titled “Lovebear’s Hearstrings” a compilation of poetry and music. What is your favorite piece and what was your inspiration behind it?
I have two favorites on the album. The first is “My Mother’s Womb.” I enjoy it for the personal honesty of it, the poetic triple entendre, and the emotions that it draws on. The poem begins with two metaphors (a wedding and the process of birthing a newborn) and later adds a third metaphor (keys) to the poem that simultaneously tells the story of never being loved by a woman. I wrote the poem after attending a friends wedding. I was so moved by the ceremony that it made me reflect on my own relationship. That reflection revealed some deep seeded feelings of hurt that left me with only one option, which was to write about it. I’ve never written a poem like this before. And you don’t typically find one poem maintaining two concurrent themes throughout, introducing a third element, and maintaining consistency that all ties into one message. “My Mother’s Womb” is an extremely deep poem for me.
would like to congratulate you on that. However do you plan on sticking with the LOVE theme for your future books or will you ever write a motivational or leadership piece?
I have three books in the pipeline: a poetry book, relationship book for men, and leadership development book for higher education. The poetry book is the book that compliments the album “Lovebear’s Heartstrings.” So far I’ve always published a poetry book along with the spoken word album. The name of the poetry book to go along with the album is titled “Scene of a Broken Heart.” But I’ll ALWAYS deal with love in some capacity or another. I am love. And my purpose is to help others understand love in various capacities and roles. Being a great human being, whether as a parent, manager, entrepreneur, sibling, front-line employee, singer, dancer, or poet requires love. Your CD has a sad bear on the cover. What is the story behind the sad bear?
I was faced with a very difficult marriage for many years that came to a screeching halt. While there is plenty of blame to go around, I ultimately found that this world has abandoned men and has left a population of us emasculated, defenseless, My other favorite poem on the album is “Toast Champagne,” which features some and without a voice. We live in a society that’s uncompassionate to men while men of South Florida’s best singers and poets, including singers Lavie and Theron Early, experience every form of abuse women experience. In my marriage and divorce and poets Richard “Byrd” Wilson and process I discovered that it was not socially Poettis. “Toast Champagne” is the culminating song/poem for the album that okay to be emotional. I was told in less or speaks to overcoming life’s challenges. The more words that as a man I needed to deal with it, get over it, and that’s not what chorus to the song tells it all: men do; men are held accountable in very unfair ways for the breakdown of a We’re gonna hold our glass up to sky marriage, in spite of the verbal, physical, We’re gonna toast champagne and sexual abuse a man may experience in For the pain we survived a marriage or relationship with their We overcame significant other. And even if we’re just getting by We’re getting by with no shame “Lovebear’s Heartstrings” is the Just hold your head high, to the sky permission I took to unapologetically And toast champagne. express my emotions. Men hurt too. Men You’ve already published 2 books; we are heartbroken too. Men are also abused.
The teddy bear icon, known as Lovebear, is my emoticon for expressing my emotions. Heartstrings Lovebear is one of the handful of bears I’ve created to reflect the emotions of the album. You have a new book in the works would you mind revealing its title and a small synopsis of what it will be about?
I’m currently working on a new relationship book, a heart-to-heart conversation with men about failing and succeeding in love with their significant other. The book examines the pitfalls and stigmas men face in relationships, and also seeks to help men develop new ways of viewing women and the conversation about the dynamics we face in relationships. I’m trying to create a paradigm shift in men. For example, both men and women tend to hold men accountable as providers and protectors of the home. The negative side to this is that many men and women have relegated men to simply being paychecks. My book will discuss men as leaders, not providers and protectors. Leadership is an allencompassing term that includes provision and protection. But provision here is not financially charged; it’s fueled by vision and purpose. Men need to become pros at vision. The vision for a marital relationship, for example, transcends how much money either party makes, because the goal of the relationship is now based on a vision for family, progress, contribution, and social impact. A man’s leadership doesn’t negate the leadership she provides. But a leader of leaders is what he must become.

Who is your inspiration growing in to the poet that you are today? God has used several people to mentor and shape me over the years. But ultimately my inspiration is the Holy Spirit that’s in me. My creator has uniquely made me (as He has all of us). There is no other number, including all the numbers after my decimal point that duplicates or replicates who I am. That awkwardness, weirdness, and offbeat quirkiness rolled into a non-conformist vantage point is what makes me me. I’m often times upset. I’ve lived the majority of my life mad at the world around me. I’m mad about the lack of resources people go without yet the country spends billions on wars; I’m mad about the political landscape of the country and the games our political parties play; I’m mad about how people hurt people, especially the people who really love and care about them; I’m mad about our school system and the teaching-to-the-test approach that our teachers are forced into; I’m mad at the over social and interpersonal problems that drives the conflict that many people encounter on a daily, weekly, yearly, generational basis; I’m mad at how they treat Black people, in the United States, in Latin countries, in Australia, in Africa, in Earth. They even said Pluto wasn’t a planet anymore after discovering Black people were on it. I’ve been upset for a really long time. ALL OF IT INSPIRES ME. I just don’t talk about it.
He has placed in you, the design of who you are including your physical, emotional, and spiritual makeup. It’s a hunger and thirst to be a better person and have a positive impact on your sphere of influence. And it’s a willingness to work through adversity with those in your sphere of influence toward the end that they love who they are. Loving yourself creates unity between your physical, emotional, and spiritual selves. And when these elements of you are marching to the same beat, you see the world through lenses that allows you to judge a matter correctly, love others genuinely, and withstand the unfulfilling cares of this world. We in effect reflect love in a plethora of ways: in how we care for the elderly, speak to our spouses, provide opportunities for our staff to grow their skills, or work extra to provide for a child’s need. Love by any other name is still love.
look funny. LOL. I wasn’t mad at her. But I don’t have two left feet. I can wind a little and do a little two-step thing. But deep down I know I can dance. I’m gonna take dance lessons one day. I could be poetic and say: I’ve learned to waltz with love and tango with knives thrown at me Bachata with political points of views and line dance with parenting skills I’ve learned to belly dance in the bedroom and B-boy life altogether I’ve learned that dancing is simply moving your feet and your body, Because moving, and hopefully forward, means that you’re alive. It would be an honor if you could grace us with a last motivational word. What message would you relay to the aspiring artist?
The art of artistry is knowing who you are as a person. What do you stand for? What’s your cause? Are you trying to impact lives or drive Are there any future events or projects that you are working on? If so where and fast cars? Are you trying to save souls or be recognized by complete strangers? In other when? I’m currently working to bring my poetry to words, what’s your purpose. When you find your purpose you find your art. After that, other parts of the United States such as you let your purpose shape your words Atlanta and Houston and other parts of expressed through your drawing, rapping, Florida such as Tampa, Tallahassee, and Orlando. I also have engagements lined up in spoken word, fashion design, photography, etc. Always have an agenda. And I only Nassau and Freeport, Bahamas throughout believe in social, political, introspective 2016. I also have another feature person taking place in Fall featuring a spoken word agendas. and singing collaboration between Theron You are very passionate about love, what Early, Lawrence Darville, and me. I think I’m It was indeed an honor to have you featured in our May issue. We can would you say to those who’ve been hurt going to name the showcase “When It only wish you success in your future even multiple times by the one they Matters Most” as a way of acknowledging love? that while we hurt, cry, and suffer, we find a endeavors. The trick is to understand that love doesn’t way to overcome those challenges in life hurt. Who hurt you was someone who didn’t when it matters most. Dear readers it is our utmost pleasure know how to love you. Love by definition is to present to you : beautiful, caring, humble, kind, affectionate, You have mostly literary and musical talents but very importantly your endearing, forgiving, longsuffering and I, Candy audience would like to know….Do you ultimately blissful. But charity begins at (see next page) dance? home. You must first love yourself. That’s not a matter of conceit, because that would make Oh gosh! I mean. No. Not really. But kinda sorta. My ex in college told me I was room love an oxymoron. But to love yourself is to decoration and that I shouldn’t dance cause I love the God in you – its loving the purpose 46 | CREATIV | Apr - May 2016 | www.creativmag.com
I, Candy She liked peering through the storefront windows of candy shops, as her desire for a taste of life would breathe condensation on to the glass. And with her index finger, she would draw in hopes of Hershey kisses at the alter, three bundle of almond joys, an M&M degree of higher education, and a house made of Now and Laters.
the window of that candy shop. Right now life was throwing lemon drops and she only saw my sweetness as weakness. Her toothaches were my mistakes that left a bitter taste. But even with all the almond joy, M&M’s, and Twix, she spat in my face and drilled up oil from my past, refined it as gas, and chased my till I crashed.
Even after she leaves, her index paragraphs remain like the stain glass windows of churches with high ceilings. These were prayers to a God she hoped would be sweet to her. People on the inside sometimes see the writing from those outside as backwards. But I saw her straight forwardness as I read from her point of view. She visited often. And my compassion grew; for I too prayed to the same God until the day came I knew what I knew. So I grabbed snickers, M&Ms, Now and Laters and a lot more – a brown paper bag full of candy to nourish her hopes.
When the relationship turns from candy shops to taking candid shots to your image we smile differently and snicker at the mention of the other person’s name. We develop into wounded animals that talk with pain; a casualty of cavities that some people casually wear. They avoid the root canal of the problem and keep filling the situation with Novocain. Who knew too many sweets would hurt the spiritual teeth from where love came. Love is not peanut butter brittle. It’s the strongest element known to man. We sometimes don’t understand how to use it or let it use us. We sometimes think love is too much. But how can I love you too much?
I didn’t want one night. I wanted one life with this caramel queen. She melted my chocolate heart and sprinkled hope for growing old together. Leaving a savory taste of having long conversations on the porch and laughing so hard that our cheeks thunder, teeth strike lightning, and eyes drizzle with joy. So I ring popped the question and digested her yes like the goodness packed in a box of Godiva. I was nuts about her. The wedding list consisted of ingredients she insisted. Her priorities quickly seemed licorice twisted. But I wanted her to have her wish and experience an anniversary in the making of all the goodies she could pack on one dish. Her first car showed up in the parking lot like a lollipop unwrapped to uncover her favorite make and model. I skittled hours behind computers writing recipes for her M&M degrees. I provided the coconut seed to grow three coconut trees. Adorned her with Twix of jewelries. The home we had Now was enough until Later demanded more. And when she was out of sugar, I worked put in extra hours at the candy store. I was so sweet to her... To the point her teeth started to rot. And these dental visits cost a lot. And that's how quickly she forgot about the condensation from her heart, to her sleeve, to what her index finger left on
We walk through glass door relationships not realizing it’s closed. Cause we clean up real pretty. Transparent as a mirror, we see what we want to see. To only be left with spicy feelings, sour orgasms, and bitter showers from hard words that beat on our backs like hard water. But we love the sweet languages of love. It’s just that some people need to sip slow while others need to chug. Our heart breathes against the window of the candy shops leaving condensation of ours hopes for enough fructose to douse where we have lost hope. And maybe if I gave her enough candy it’ll sweeten what’s bitter within me. Maybe she was the candy I wanted, but she wasn’t the candy for me. But we want what we want. And more often at the time we want it. And when those wishes are granted we throw love over our shoulder and flaunt it. We forget when we stood outside of candy shops hoping that our insecurities would be met with someone sweet. We forget that the people inside the shop are looking for the same treat. Maybe next time I’ll go outside, stand next to her by the window, breathing condensation, and see what she sees. Cause maybe the candy I saw standing outside wasn’t the candy I need.

I consider myself an artist, no I don't consider myself a R&B AND HIP HOP ARTIST ONLY I don't box myself in. music is music, to me it's less about sound it's about the feeling and yes I will explore more genres in the future even if it's writing or producing songs alongside other artists. Are you working on an album at the moment if so when will it be released?
Do you plan on touring? I did the God Money War Tour with King Los, Skate Maloney and J oliver last year. I have some things in the works for the near future but right now we're just pushing out the music. Do you consider yourself a role model in your community? Have you ever done any work where you had to give back? Role model.. no because I tell the youth all the time to be better than me. Learn from my mistakes and others, to be your own person. At the end of the day Yes I give back to the community all the time my mother is into philanthropy I watched her do it all my life, her actions made me want to start my foundation Beats Not Bullets. We’ll be launching that formally this summer. It’s a youth organization for high school kids to help mentor them and also assist with college and SAT prep. I never had an opportunity like that growing up so I want to try and help others by offering it to them.

The release of the song of the summer!
I
nternational recording artist Flo Rida welcomes fans with a VIP party on South Beach to introduce his new song “Hello Friday”. The provided entertainment was surely enjoyable with music by DJ Reflex spinning records from 2008 off his album “Mail On Sunday” along with a mixture of songs from his protégé Natalie La Rose who was also present at the event. For the special event TGIFridays had a special menu that included two cocktails “Florita” and “Hello Friday”. As of now, FloRida has surpassed Eminem on Hip-hop #1’s chart; his popular song “My House” being number one. With so many great accomplishments FloRida was honored on June 3, 2014 when Mayor Oliver Gilbert of Miami Gardens (Carol City) presented him with the Key to the City. He was awarded for his endeavors through his Florida Youth Football League and various programs coordinated through his Big Dreams for Kids Charity. Creativ Mag had the opportunity to be a part of the first anniversary of FloRida Day (March 26). Both artists took pictures with fans and enjoyed TGIFs delectable food. While FloRida shooting the second half of his music video but in the meantime I was able to sit down and talk with Natalie La Rose.

It lets me know that you can never fail with team work, I definitely thank God for the team that I have around me and the fans that have been loyal since day one who love to party and have a good time. Most importantly the fact that my mom always taught me if you dream big to be something, give positive energy towards When you’re not traveling or anything you can accomplish. To see performing, what do you like to do myself at the magnitude of where I’m at in your free time? now almost one hundred million records Well I live in Miami; I love to hang out on sold, it’s just a blessing, I get goosebumps the beach which is right next to my house. l just thinking about it. like to play the piano come up with ideas and if I really have time I like to watch TV shows love Orange is the Black and Homeland. What or who inspires you to make each track? Every song is different; sometimes its old music from back in the days that inspire me, sometimes it’s a feeling, listening to the beat inspires me to write something so it’s a different situation every time.
Do you ever go back to your hometown (Netherlands, Amsterdam)? I actually do, I do more since my music has been out because it gives me the opportunity to go for a show or whatever and it gives me the chance to see my family as well. How was it performing at the Latin American music Awards last year (2015)? That was one of the most fun performances that I’ve done. We did the Spanish version of “Somebody”, I got to sing a little bit of Spanish as well which was really cool. We used some of the choreography that I made for the song and incorporated it in the show I think it was really dope. Subsequently, I caught up with FloRida at the set of his “Hello Friday” music video, on Watson Island behind Miami Children’s Museum. After a few takes everyone took a break to relax and freshen up for the next scene. Finally got to see the man of the hour and ask him about his success: How do you feel about “My House” being #1 on the billboard?
When can we expect the video to your latest new single Hello Friday? Hello Friday video maybe in the next three weeks you will see it, shout to my boy Jason Derulo we shot the first half in L.A which was phenomenal. Now we’re in sunny South Florida where its hot you see I’m sweating to death. (Laughs) Here on the set with friends and family and I’m just looking forward to having it number one video just like My House was. Shout out to my director Alex we’ve been having number one videos since he joined the team. What can we expect from you this year? Nothing but hits hits hits, you should expect a great album right now the EP My House, and I’ll be dropping another album in June. I want to give a shout out to TGIFridays whos joined the team and helping support me as well as making the
song the official TGIFridays song and WWE who just embraced every record I put out this year. We’ve been fortune to go more than double platinum on every single that we’ve put out. A big thank you to Mayor Levine who came and showed me a lot of love just as the first time when he presented me with my day. In conclusion, it was noted that the city of Mimi Beach acknowledged FloRida’s hard work and continued inspiration to unite millions of fans around the world and contribution to Miami Beach that in March 26, 2015 he received proclamation from Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine at the Miami Beach Centennial Concert as Flo Rida Day. It’s only going getting bigger and better and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the following years.

CHEF JORDAN A Culinary Gem discovered
I
n the same spirit of highlighting the men making remarkable things in our community, we would like to take a moment and bring your attention to Chef Jordan, also known as The Food Sorcerer. We had the privilege of catching with him at Full Circle’s past event entitled A.R.T Live and we’ve realized there was more to him that met the eye. The following is a brief conversation with Chef Jordan to get to know him and what he was about to expose us to for the evening. 60 | CREATIV | Apr - May 2016 | www.creativmag.com
Chef Jordan, How long have you been a chef? I’ve now been a chef for 10 years. How did you get started? I started when I was 10 years old cooking with my father. My father is bohemian and my mother is American so I have both backgrounds in my cuisine. Would you like to give us an example? My mom would cook pork and collard greens however my dad would go more Caribbean, giving it more of an island twist with the spices like bonnet peppers and the steak creating pepper steak. So I mix them together. I put my dad's spices with the American cuisine. American cuisine is sweeter however on the island side we like spices.
Shake up your recipes with my SWEET and SAVORY BOURBON sauce. I guarantee you that you have never tasted anything like it. No disappointments! You can use it for DIPPING, CHICKEN, SEAFOOD, RIBS, STEAK and so much more. Sauce it up your way!
So sweet and spicy? I like that. Yes actually which brought me to create my own bourbon sauce. What have you cooked for us today? I've cooked my bourbon chicken, my famous macaroni and cheese wedges but not fried. Definitely had to have the rice and peas giving you the island flavor. Swedish meatballs and bourbon meatballs. Eggrolls for our vegetarian, carrots cabbage. And last but not least I'm having a nice wine tasting today. We will do some buttery wines and savory sweet wines and my favorite wine, Cosa Rosa. I can guarantee you after today everyone is going for the Cosa Rosa Have you ever participated in any big competition? The biggest one that I have participated in is the Food Network and I worked for those guys working in the test kitchen. I came up with my own mini burgers it was actually publicized in Wonderful Network Magazine in the 2014 if you can find it. Look for my sliders. We must highlight our Caribbean culinary arts and I do that whenever I get a chance especially when I get the opportunity to showcase my spices.
What's next for you? I was working in the Middle East. But since I'm here in the States now. My next step is to push my bourbon sauce so people will be doing to the mall to get it, so basically they will be coming to me to get it. Do you already own a restaurant or would you like to own one ? I already have my own restaurant. we are renovating the house right now until we make the change. it's in the works. What brought you A.R.T. Live? It's the new vision. For me new vision is everything. If you have the mind the charisma and the spirit it was another way to elevate Jordan Catering and elevating Art live and it's a beautiful thing How can we get in contact with you? The hidden secret behind why women cheat
TONI DOUGLAS Toni is in pursuit of obtaining her Doctorate degree in the field of Education while also pursuing her goals of publishing her first book, "What NOT to Do While Dating Your Non-Existent Boyfriend." 66 | CREATIV | Apr - May 2016 | www.creativmag.com

The answer is simple...women cheat because men cheat. That's it! Case closed, there's nothing more to it. (If only the answer was that simple, right?) While we wish we could simply blame a woman's infidelity on the mere fact that men cheat, that wouldn't be completely fair. I believe women have to take full responsibility for their actions no matter how justifiable their behaviors or the reason why they cheated may be. No one is in control of our lives but us. If there is a relationship that is making a woman unhappy, and their life and livelihood aren't being seriously threatened, that woman needs to immediately get out of it. To cheat on a man means that you devalue his feelings while trying to fulfill your own; to not look or feel like a scum bag, just GO.
our feelings causing us to cry, whine, feel emotional pain and become depressed more than the male gender. With that said, we yearn for emotional belonging. So what does that mean? It means, if a woman is wholeheartedly involved with a man and her intentions with that man are good and honest, she'll expect something from her partner in return.
While we would like to believe material things or simply being in the presence of a man is sufficient, women look for belonging and the knowing that they are enough for their partner. That simply means, giving women respectful compliments, having a healthy sex life (if wanting sex is important), spending quality time with one another and having an open and equal line of communication. There are a ton of other aspects that fall in line with what women want emotionally, but those mentioned are most important. EMPOWERMENT
When the jars were all full, she said to her son, “Bring me another jar.” But he said, “There are no more jars.” Then the oil stopped flowing - (The Human's Manual For Living)
I
n the process of my own personal maturation and evolution as a friend, a confidante, a professional, a business woman, a minister of the Gospel, and in all the multiple facets of my life that are inextricably intertwined with other people's lives, I am beginning to find value in this one truth; how extremely important it is to surround myself with people who have the capacity to facilitate and accommodate the flow (essence/ purpose) from my life. Where and when capacity is limited or maximized, two scenarios will inevitably unfold:
1
Your flow will be interrupted and the thing which you are designed to produce will cease (vision terminated/aborted)
The caption above, extracted from the narrative detailed in The Human's Manual For Living in 2 Kings 4, speaks expressly to this end. As long as empty jars were available, the oil from the cruse flowed freely. As long as the capacity to receive remained a viable reality, reciprocity remained consistent. In these kinds of relationships you are free to flow and give of yourself, your essence. Your potential and potentiality remains uncapped. Opportunities to discover, explore and express new-found aspects of your life remains possible. You are in your most creative space. There is freedom. There is safety. The moment, however, the capacity of the recipient diminishes or ceases, who you are, your most authentic self, is placed on pause. And if you are not careful, who you are could eventually die.
2
They (your associates, friends, business partners, etc.) will go into isolation mode because they will no longer have the ability to accommodate your flow Whatever the jar can no longer contain, it will spill. Whatever is being spilled is being wasted. Whatever is being wasted, clearly no longer holds value to the recipient. In essence, the relationships that no longer have capacity for you will begin rejecting you. The rejection may be subtle and systematic, or it may be direct and decisive. No need to panic. Rejection is a necessary ingredient for growth. Your best course of action at this point, I am beginning to discover, is to graciously release those who have "maxed out" from around you and simply keep it moving. There are other "jars" at the next level that will place a demand on you for increased production. The question then becomes, are you prepared to handle it?

HOW TO AVOID: While mistakes may happen on occasion, you can minimize the chances of losing travel documents by taking a few simple steps: Request electronic documents. By receiving your documents electronically via email you will never lose your documents – unless you delete the email (so don’t do that!). You can always print and re-print the documents or show the documents to whomever needs to view them via your tablet or smartphone. written by Showeshi Boston

Make color copies of your passport or driver’s license. While you are out taking in the sights and participating in tours it’s easy to get distracted and lose track of your valuables. Keeping a copy of your legal identification will help you avoid losing these valuable documents and/or having them fall into the wrong hands. Secure your actual documents in the safe provided in your room or in the hotels safe deposit box (usually available for an additional fee).
