LIFE OF PI
Although I usually have a scientific mind, like Pi, I don’t think we are supposed to just confine ourselves to just one belief. Maybe both stories are true. Suppose they were stuck on a raft: the mother, the cook, the Buddhist and maybe “Richard Parker” the tiger, altogether. Of both stories (despite my scientific mind) the one I prefer and want to believe in is the one with the tiger and the animals. Yes, it’s harder to believe and comprehend. I believe that maybe, just maybe, this fantastic story is true.

In hindsight, I don’t think we’re supposed to chose, but to use one to complement the other. A floating island is technically possible and easy to imagine. So like Pi with religions, we’re supposed to use both stories and our own beliefs to choose. For in essence, the choice is always ours.

LIFE OF PI – BELIEVE IN THE UNBELIEVABLE! In my opinion, the message of the film is to believe that in every dark moment of our lives there is always a way out of it, that there is hope if we have faith. Pi was in a very difficult situation, but he never lost hope because he believed in himself and as long as he kept his mind sane and if he had faith in getting through it, he would have what he needed.

In the end, Pi gets happiness and a life full of joys. That only happened because he was a believer and had a lot of strength in his heart. This is a story that makes you believe in the unbelievable!
