2025 PEACHTREE RD NE ATLANTA, GA 30309, APT 516 t 256.251.0420

I am a 2013 graduate from Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture with a Master of Landscape Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Architecture degree (2011). I am currently looking for a position as an intern or entry level designer where I can deliver and enhance my interdisciplinary assets into a fully integrated design. I appreciate your firm’s concern and dedication to innovative and thoughtful design solutions that are applied to the wide range of projects. Knowledge from both fields enables me to work across a range of scales and contribute to individual and team discussions to which I believe are fitting for your studio. My experience at Perkins+Will along with various other projects gave me exposure to the kind of processes and challenges found in the areas mentioned afore. While at Perkins+Will, Atlanta, I formed part of an intricate team of designers and consultants with involvements on domestic projects as The Atlanta Beltline and UGA Veterinary Collage as well as international works in Saudi Arabia. The following are samples of my work that I believe display an insight to my interests and approach to the design of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.

MLK Extension The concept proposes an extension of MLK Street in a direct line over the Vulcan site to the river. The resulting aerial walkway acts as a mediator between the city, the industrial corridor, and the river by allowing people to re-inhabit the post industrial landscapes, and integrate the waterfront back into the city. By re-using and rearranging materials and plants found on the site, the design carries the dialogue between people and the history of the area. This project was published along with other works

Re-imaging the urban fabric The project involved utilizing various planning strategies in order that the down town of the city of Auburn, Alabama served as a catalyst to project the vision of sustainable site initiatives. Water collecting and filtering strategies are utilized to educate people coming and going from the parking deck to the existing shops. Molding and re-shaping the topography was key to allow these processes to become legible that transform the urban fabric into a didactic landscape. Both physical sketch models and computer modeling were essential to carrying out the idea of a multi functional building that acted as additional public green space. This project was done as a high performance city demonstration in the city of Auburn, Alabama.

LifePoint Church Stage Design Albertville Alabama

In Collaboration with LifePoint Ministries Lifepoint Church Stage was a project that involved a fast paced design build approach in which both the design and construction of the project were driven by a need for aesthetic and cost effectiveness. Although the initial drawings called for stacking recycled wood pallets in their original form, we decided to construct our own custom 4’x8’ panels which gave us the freedom of arranging the individual pallet boards. The result was a back drop rich with texture and depth that hints at the previous uses of the wood pallets.
