These housing units will travel via ferry or barge from Vlore Albania to Kerkira Greece, Otranto Italy, Brindisi Italy, Bari Italy and Dubrovnik Croatia. They will spend approximately two months at each destination leaving a less than a week for travel between each destination. To do this, each housing unit will need to be light, buyout and self-sufficient. While they are ported in the city, the 30 housing units will be connected to the city by a designed pier.

"Project Shadow" was intended to challenge the idea of a duplex while also challenging the relationship between the two occupants. This program creates an awkward tension. Instead of trying to resolve that tension, this project and program, puts on display the occupants living and working in a single building. Through the use of projection, shadows and silhouettes are displayed on the front facade, blurring the lines between occupancy and privacy.
