LERIC ADY B U C C O A C H E S TERRILL - HEAD COACH ERIC TERRILL enters his 14th season as the head coach of the women’s soccer program at Charleston Southern University. Terrill holds a record of 96-130-10 in his time at CSU and a conference record of 34-45-10. In his 14 seasons at the helm, Terrill’s teams have finished in the top half of the conference nine times. He has coached 46 All-Conference players, three Freshman of the Year, one Player of the Year, 95 scholar-athletes, two Academic AllAmericans, and four Big South Academic Athletes of the Year. Terrill always has been a strong recruiter with several All-Americans, region team players and state players of the year under his belt. In 2006, Terrill landed the number one recruiting class in the Big South, a class that was ranked 23rd in the East Region by Soccer Buzz Magazine. Terrill followed this in 2007 by landing the second ranked recruiting class in the conference, which included Michelle Dennis, who won Big South Freshman of the year and made the All Freshman Team, and was named to the Second Team All-Confeerence, along with Marky Boyce, who was also named to the All Freshman Team and First Team All-Conference. Terrill ended the 2007 season tied for the program record of most wins in a season (12), and most consecutive wins (6). Terrill comes into the 2008 season with a strong recruiting class in Anja Djumisic who holds her high school’s record for most goals in a career, Casey Bolduc who holds her high school’s record for goals in a season, transfer Amy Arroyo who recorded seven shut-outs at her previous school, and Olivia Urig, who has twice won SC High School Player of the Year honors. Terrill has been coaching for 22 years, the first six as an assistant before earning his first head coaching job at Chowan College, where he directed both the men’s and women’s teams in 1993 and 1994. At Chowan he had to start the men’s and women’s programs from scratch, and he led both programs to successful seasons before coming to CSU. Before coaching at Chowan, Terrill served as assistant men’s and women’s coach at nationally ranked Lee’s McRae College from 1990-93 and as an assistant with the men’s program at Appalachian State from 1987-89. Besides his college coaching experience, Terrill has also been active in the soccer community as a club director and an instructor at several camps and clinics throughout the country. He currently serves as a South Carolina Olympic Development Staff Coach and has also been involved with Region III, Virginia ODP and Tennessee ODP. Terrill is a 1987 graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in physical education and earned his master of arts in education with a concentration in sports management from Appalachian State in 1989.
Assistant Coach
Christi Rostin
Women’s soccer head coach Eric Terrill recently announced that Christina Rostin, the former Christi Arnold (Charleston Southern class of 2001), will be returning to Buccaneer Field as the team’s assistant coach beginning this fall. Rostin had a very prolific four year career while playing for Terrill and the Lady Bucs from 1997 through 2000. Over the course of her four seasons, Rostin appeared in 62 games (starting on 41 occasions) and scored 19 goals and recorded 43 points in the process. The 19 goals currently ranks Rostin eighth all-time on the CSU goal scoring list, while 43 points is good enough for ninth place all-time in that particular offensive category. After concluding her eligibility, Rostin also served as an assistant coach at CSU during the 2001 season while completing her bachelor’s degree in social science. The 2001 season was one of the Lady Bucs’ most successful campaigns in program history, as Terrill’s team finished with a 4-1-1 conference record, earning second place in the Big South in the regular season. Since leaving CSU, Rostin has been coaching with the South Carolina Olympic Development program and serving as the head coach of various age levels at the Mt. Pleasant Soccer Club, and has worked as the soccer coordinator for the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Department. As the soccer coordinator, Rostin has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of one of the largest participatory soccer programs in the state, which sees 4,000 participants take the field annually. Rostin also has been responsible for the creation of the “Mt. Pleasant Developmental program,” a program designed to encourage soccer development amongst children ages seven through 10 in Mt. Pleasant.
Goalkeeper Coach
Jackie Stoll
Jackie Stoll joins CSU for the 2008 season as the goalkeeper coach after a dominate playing career at Coastal Carolina where she holds several all-time season records for the Chanticleers. While at Coastal Carolina, Stoll saw her playing time increase as she advanced into her tenure, appearing in a total of 67 games. In her final two seasons (2005, 2006), Stoll appeared in every game during the season and averaged 64 saves (.688) and 74 saves (.712) respectivly, allowing an average of only 1.43 and 1.58 goals per game for the same period of time. Her save record in the 2004 and 2005 seasons (82, 74) places her in 4th and 5th place respectively in all-time saves, along with 7th and 9th places for her 64 saves in 2006 and 34 saves in 2003. Stoll also places 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in alltime shut-outs. Stoll’s appearances in her final two seasons ties her for first in Coastal’s all-time record for matches played (20) and places her solely first for matches started (20). Her appearances in 2006 place her first in minutes played for the season at 1,820, 3rd in 2005 with 1,711, 5th in 2004 with 1,626, and 9th in 2003 with 527 minutes. When not working with CSU, Stoll is a youth soccer coach/trainer for goalkeepers and field players in the Charleston area, working for Suarez Soccer School and James Island Soccer Club.

OLIVIA URIG
Fr., M, 5’8”
Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Olivia Urig joins Terrill’s squad from nearby Wando HS, where as a senior last season she was selected as the 4A Player of the Year for the entire state of South Carolina. Urig, Wando’s team captain last year, also helped lead her squad to a 24-2-2 record and the state 4A championship in 2007, and in 2008 when they won the state title. In the 2007 championship game for the 4A title, Urig showcased her talents by scoring the only goal in Wando’s 1-0 victory over Lexington HS, and won 2008 Player of the Year honors. In addition to her impressive high school credentials, Urig has done well at the club level as well, as she has won state championships with the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (based in Greenville, S.C.) in addition to the Mt. Pleasant Soccer Club in the past.......Urig’s arrival at CSU keeps a strong Wando HS-toCharleston Southern pipeline alive which has produced Sarah Catenacci and Krista Ross, who was a teammate of Urig’s on the 2007 championship team, the past two seasons. Urig also will become the fifth Lowcountry area player on the team, as sophomores-to-be Kelsey Riggs and Staci Ulichnie also hail from the area (both are from nearby James Island High School).
CASEY BOLDUC
Fr., M, 5’6”
Spartanburg, S.C.
Casey Bolduc, who joins the Bucs from Spartanburg’s Oakbrook Preparatory School. Bolduc has made an unmistakable impression at Oakbrook to this point in her career, as she has shattered the previous record for goals in a season, has won School and Conference Player of the year honors and has even coached the team in practice at times when head coach Liz Myers could not be present.... Bolduc also has made history at Oakbrook, as she and classmate Tony Higgins, a men’s soccer player, have become the first athletes from the small Spartanburg school to sign to play varsity collegiate athletics in Oakbrook’s 17 year history. Bolduc also boasts strong club credentials in addition to her high school honors. The Upstate native earned Carolina Football Club MVP honors and was a member of South Carolina’s ODP team, which was coached by Terrill, in both 2004 and 2006. A versatile player, Bolduc is capable of playing many positions on the field, including left back, forward and center midfield. Buldoc joins the team with SCESA Player of the Year honors and 27 goals to her credit.
ANJA DJUMISIC
Fr., F, 5’4”
Atlanta, Ga.
Anja Djumisic, who joins the program from Atlanta’s Lakeside High. At Lakeside, Djumisic has scored 52 goals alongside 15 assists to this point in her career, earning such distinctions as the Coaches Award and the MVP Forward Award along the way. Djumisic, who was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, hails from an impressive athletic background, as her father, Ali Djumisic, played professionally in Bosnia before moving to the United States...Djumisic was discovered by Terrill and assistant coach Heather Orman at a camp at Clemson University. At the camp, Djumisic impressed by holding her own
against players from throughout the area, including several current members of Clemson’s women’s soccer team. Though she will join a loaded CSU strikeforce, Terrill is excited about Djumisic’s ability to beat players with brute force, believing the Georgia player will add a needed hard-nosed element to the Lady Buc offense.
