The shoot took place at Marsden Rock in South Shields, a beautiful North East location.
The weather was frozen and the shoot was early, but like true professionals the guys suffered on through the chill to produce some brilliant results, looking very much the happy couple! Elissa and Nick clearly work very well together. I have worked personally with Elissa and Nick also, and they are a breeze to shoot with, irrelevant of the style/theme.
I have also shot with the photographers from HD photography, Craig and Stu, whom seperately shoot fashion models, these guys are also an absolute pleasure to shoot with!

With same sex marriage being the latest hot topic in the headlines, we thought we’d go and shoot a scenario with lovely models Kelli and Hannah. The setting was the magnificent grounds of Westenhanger Castle, which is situated in the beautiful countryside of The Garden Of England, Kent. The castle is over a thousand years old and once belonged to King Canute. It is now one of Kent's leading wedding venues, and no wonder. When Kelli saw where the shoot was taking place, she proclaimed, "I now know where I’m getting married!" and promptly phoned her boyfriend. Sorry mate.

Who is Kevin Cheesman? Kevin started as an underwear buyer introducing aussieBum to the world as the first retail stockist. From there he worked for aussieBum for three years which provided him with a phenomenal front-wheel experience with an international brand.
The next natural move was to start his own brand, which he was hesitant about as the mens underwear market is a saturated market with over 400 brands! Naturally creative, but also shy, the name CURB is befitting to how he began the brand. Launched in 2013, CURB's principles are designing sportswear and underwear for guys who want to prevent a hungry bottom (underwear riding up) and who think gym gloves should provide a better grip and also be colourful to wear. You can get in touch with Kevin by email kevin@curbwear.com.

Hot to Trot by Fake Fur
www.fakefur.be - louise@precioustroves.com
In 2012 organic clothes label Fake Fur entered the fashion world as a sprightly foal. This year Fake Fur proudly presents its brand new collection: Chapter II – Horses.
Fake Fur was bred in Damhert Nutrition’s stable, a health food label by origin, and its reigns are held by Clio and Martine Hendrickx.
“We have successfully jumped the first hurdle. People were incredibly enthusiastic about Chapter I’s concept and execution. Our unique shirts for women were included in the high-end boutiques and its sales raised 7.500 euros for ‘Greyhounds in need’, a British charity dedicated to the welfare and rescue of greyhounds in Spain. It is a sizeable amount for a charity that is mainly surviving on small contributions of individuals. Our mission was accomplished.”
Chapter II is an ode to the most elegant of the animal kingdom. Its gracefulness has been translated into six surprising interpretations around the horse and printed on quality Tshirts with a classic round neckline or a playful Vneck.
For each T-shirt sold 5 euros will go into the Fake Fur Fund and donated via the ‘Stichting voor paarden in nood’ (Horses in Need Foundation) to ‘The Old Horses Lodge’ in Laarne, Belgium; a refuge centre for neglected and confiscated horses. ‘Stichting voor paarden in nood’ was founded by Kris Peeters, the Flemish Prime Minister, who warmly endorses the Fake Fur label. Each Fake Fur collection collaborates with a guest-artist who designs one of the series’ T-shirts. For Chapter II Lief van Himbeeck was chosen: a female artist from the Limburg province and a pure-blood amazon. With the intriguing Skully’s Boneyard-design she responds to skulls as a hot fashion trend, while giving a personal interpretation of the life-long friendship between horse and rider, and the issues surrounding neglected animals. The Chapter II collection will be available in UK boutiques from June 2013. It's this summer’s cool casual must-have item for all those playful frolics on England’s pastures green! Indicated retail price per t-shirt £75.
For more information on the new Fake Fur collection please contact Louise Heite @ Precious Troves or visit the Fake Fur website: www.fakefur.be
Fake Fur’s product are a perfect fit in all sizes and will always be comfortable in every situation: as one’s second fur. The label’s materials are of impeccable quality and fitting with the Damhert mantra – ‘Respect for human, animal and the environment’ only bio cotton and waterbased prints are used.

"I thoroughly enjoy modelling, I’ve met a lot of great people since I started this. I don’t think I’d be where I am today if I didn’t have the balls to try this out!"
32
What is your name and where are you based? My name is Mason Brimble and I’m based in South Shields. How did you get into modelling and how long have you been doing it? I have been modelling for around 7 months now. Someone I knew said I had potential for it, so I spoke to some photographers and had my first test shoot, then I went from there! What types of modelling do you do? I’m up for most modeling types, fashion, underwear, alternative etc. Have you modelled for any well known brands or names? I’ve had the pleasure of working for some clothing brands so far, including Dizen, Urban Royalty and Lick Underwear. Do you prefer working on location or in a studio? I don’t have any preference to studio or location, I’m happy to work in either as each concept requires different things! What do your friends and family think of you being a model? My family has been supportive of my modelling, as have my friends. What is the furthest place you have travelled for a shoot? The furthest I’ve travelled so far is probably to Rayleigh from South Shields. I don’t mind the travelling though! What preparations do you do before a shoot? I always keep myself highly groomed before any shoot I do, if the shoot involves me being topless then I usually fast for a minimum of 16 hours before the shoot. What do you think makes a good model? I believe a good model should be enthusiastic about the work they do, and have imagination, as well as being confident in front of a camera. Whats your favourite shoot you have ever done? My favourite shoot to date was probably the Gibside wedding workshop last year. I met a lot of new models and photographers there when I was just starting out. "Working with Lizzie was short and sweet. I was very excited to work with her after being in contact over a few days planning exactly what we would be doing when the day came.
This particular day I got on a train at 7am to work alongside a creative team in North London. When I walked into the beautiful studio I was blown away. I was in awe of the decor. The brass textures of the environment, the props, the natural light g that seemed to e b t n’ radiate the whole a c I " room. I was very much uc m w in my element, but ho there was no time to inspect the room, it was all systems go! Straight into hair and make up with the lovely Azra Teja. Prior to getting to the shoot we both agreed to work around with the natural light within the studio and play around with the windows. During the shoot I was extremely comfortable. Lizzie gave great direction and we were bouncing off ideas all through out our shoot. We were using the room to it’s full potential, which meant frolicking around windows, old sofas and brainstorming on what props to use, where to stand, how to pose and where to look. All very exciting! I can’t begin to tell you how much fun I had. I learnt so much in the small amount of time we had together. I had so much fun with Lizzie most of our time was spent laughing. I'm giggling just writing this! It's great to be able to work with someone so creative, welcoming and personable. Someone you really click with. Trust me, it makes all the difference. "

Gemma and I hiked a couple of kilometres into the forest surrounding Arundel Castle. My aim was to create a series of photos of a woman in the forest waiting for her lover, with the question of "how did she get there?"
I always like my work to feel cinematic or dramatic in some way as I feel it produces different emotions from looking at the resulting picture. The dress was created out of 27sq metres of crimson satin with the expertise of the wonderful Gemma Taylor.

Marco Ta Moko by Marco Dal Maso Designer Jewellery
How was 'Marco Ta Moko' born?
I have always been keen on the arts. I learnt the art of jewellery in my father’s company, DML. I then decided to continue my personal path writing and travelling. Travel is what motivates me and keeps me inspired. Experiencing new places, different people, alternative backgrounds, that’s what I was born to do. Whilst travelling through New Zealand in 2006 on a spiritual journey, I was absorbed by Ta Moko beliefs and culture. Meaning 'Tattoo' in the ancient Maori language, Ta Moko represented a person's achievements and their status in the tribe and was considered a huge honour to have.
Ta Moko was worn by both men and women. It was applied to the face and buttocks of men, and to the chin, lips and shoulders of women. Depending on their ranking, they may also have Ta Moko on their face. Ta Moko was like a history of a person’s achievements and represented their status in their tribe. It was like a resumé. It also served as a reminder to people about their responsibility in life. It was a huge honour for people to have Ta Moko. On my return to Italy I focused all my time and channelled all my efforts, creativity and feeling into a defined goal: that of creating the Marco Ta Moko brand, jewels that induce positive energy and reflect the connection between the past and the future. That is how Marco Ta Moko was born. I know that looking at, touching and wearing my jewels will make you feel what I feel: the infinite touch of being alive!

Any idea about buying jewelry? If anyone chooses to buy the most emotional product in the world, which is jewelry, they should always follow what their soul is telling them. Always make sure that you are completely happy in your choice. By doing this you are guaranteed to own a piece of art that you are truly happy with. This is what I aim to offer with Marco Ta Moko.

First Impressions Count by Mitzi Marie Model & Blogger
mariemodelxo.blogspot.co.uk
When it comes to romance it's no secret that making a great impression counts a lot, but for me, making a good first impression all starts off with having confidence within yourself. There's nothing sexier than a woman who accepts all her flaws and still knows what she is worth. Your flaws are what make you perfect, there should be no definition as to what is and isn't perfect in a woman. Knowing how to live with your imperfections and still be able to feel sexy is an art, and is something I find within modelling.
"There's nothing sexier than a woman who accepts all her flaws"
Society is always telling us what the perfect woman or man is so it's really no wonder that some lack self confidence and have low self esteem. The key is to PHOTOGRAPHER stop picturing what's KHP Photography perfect, accept your imperfections and MODEL make them perfect. Mitzi Marie Beauty and femininity twitter.com/MissBBmarie are ageless and can't be contrived and MUA glamour cannot be Emma Fay manufactured. Fashion and the way us women choose to dress, the way we choose to transform ourselves, is what makes us feel confident. I definitely equate sexuality and fashion because when I'm all dressed and made up the way I like to be I'm much more prepared for a date. I have always had a real passion for make up and fashion, I was obsessed with over the top glamour. I loved seeing women who had their hair and make up done perfectly.
My real inspirations are women that are fearless and brave, that dress in a really distinctive and unusual manner like Dita Von Teese and Lady Gaga. I love artificial man made beauty, I feel glamour is a creation of art and a creation of beauty and it's something I really respect. I see modelling as another form of self creation and beauty and how to create glamour.

My love for fashion began around the age of six or seven. I used to spend countless hours in front of the computer playing my Barbie Fashion Designer CD-ROM game, developing different looks and styles for the perfect woman of the time. In those imaginative moments I felt as if I was producing something far greater than a new wardrobe for Barbie, I was creating art and thus opening up a new world for myself.
The world that I crafted and harnessed during those tender childhood years is where I currently reside. After going to school for fashion journalism I was able to really hone in on my talents and my strengths with regards to writing and fashion styling. I always dreamt of becoming a market editor for a big name fashion magazine so that I would be able to work with endless resources and seasoned artists to develop a story and fantasy that other dreamers like myself could get lost in. I admire the legacy and hard work of women like Grace Coddington who have the ability to take fashion, which is often ephemeral, and make it eternal. When styling a photo shoot I always stay true to the fundamentals which are creating art and developing visions into a reality that transcends our current truth. I pull inspiration from everything and everyone around me and I render the compilation of those ideas into something special and enjoyable for everyone that lays eye upon it. I stay true to myself and construct an idea that has no parameters because only then can I truly produce the style of shoot that I can be really proud of. I use magazines as my platform for sharing the different realities that I construct in hopes of inspiring artist of all varieties and categories.

Creating “In Bloom” was such a wonderful experience because it was solely a form of expression for my team and myself. It was not commissioned or requested by any publication, it just started out as an idea and developed from there. I was able to work with an amazing and prominent new designer by the name of Rodrigo Trujillo who had such remarkable pieces that to not have them seen by the styling community would have been a crime. After meeting with him and selecting the pieces that fell into my vision, the rest of the shoot was set to be a success. I had the pleasure of collaborating with a very talented photographer and model whom I had previously worked with before. After talking to Stephanie Bouzard about my concept and pulling Sophia Haggard out of school for the day we were able to build something very special.

HeadBand & Earrings: Forever 21 Gown: Rodrigo Trujillo Although I would be remiss if I did not mention one of the most important components of my shoot --Flora Grubb Gardens in San Francisco. The picturesque location served as the back drop for the shoot and without their generosity, direction and intensity this photo shoot would have read much differently. Dress & Vintage Scarf: Rodrigo Trujillo
Bracelet: Forever 21 Earrings: Forever 21 Fashion styling is my greatest passion, which is why it never feels like work and always gives me an unexpected soaring return. Whether I am styling a photo shoot or dressing a client for a big event, it feels like Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel. All of the work that I have done in the past has been merely out of necessity: necessity to get my concept out of my head and viewed by more people like myself who dare to dream. It doesn’t hurt that I surround myself with other dream chasers alike, whether they are models, photographers, stylists or designers, because we all have the same ultimate goal which is to reach people with our choice of craft that we are constantly perfecting day in and day out.
e who don’t know that failure is inevitable,” so aim big and hold back nothing.
