word from the athletic director I would like to personally welcome you to Carleton Athletics and invite you to take a tour of our different offerings in our interactive magazine. With the temperature rising and the sun shining, it’s time to shed the layers and break out the beachwear. Carleton Athletics is the perfect place to sizzle and splash this summer, while you get fit and feel great. At Carleton Athletics’ one-stop recreational shop, we have everything you need to get active – from state-of-the-art facilities to a variety of exciting classes offered each week. You’ll quickly run out of reasons why you can’t get into shape!

Sponsors: Carleton University Recreation & Athletics would like to thank the following partners for their generous support, without which we would not be able to maintain the incredible quality and success of our programs:

Pump, push and press at our fully supervised fitness centre or get your heart rate up in our cardio room. What better way to beat the summer heat than in our 50m L-shaped pool, complete with Olympic diving tower, springboards, a slide, bubbler and swing rope. Back by popular demand, the cardio room will once again be open this summer. You can also stay active with our adult recreational leagues or one of the many fitness, martial arts, dance, yoga and aquatics classes we offer. With so many options, it can be hard to choose just one class. That’s why we’ve created the CUFit pass, which combines a little bit of everything, including access to a slew of group fitness, dance, yoga classes and more! Whether you are a student or community member, young or, well, not so young, needing to lose a few pounds or just looking to keep active, Carleton Athletics has what you need. Signing up has never been easier. Each program in this magazine is linked directly to its online registration page. So flip through and be on your way to CU Fit. Look Good. Feel Great.
