A Summer To Remember Despite it being one of the wettest on record, we had a spectacular Queen’s Jubilee and excelled in what may have been the greatest Olympic Games ever staged. Even the rain couldn’t dampen the nation’s mood and our medal count was the cream on top. At Burns & Webber we have had an exceptional summer with our best sales results for 6 years, despite a drop of about 40% in the volume of completed transactions across the UK when compared to 2005/6/7. Boys and girls from age 5 to 17 are welcome to join and are grouped according to age. 2011-2012 was another very successful season for the club, with highlights including U8’s Winning the Wasps Festival and Winning the London Irish Festival, the U14’s Winning Surrey League 3 undefeated with 40 out of a possible 42 points (only missed out on 2 bonus points).
Help Us Help Disability Challengers If you’ve not been introduced to the incredible Disability Challengers charity, let us get you up to speed. It’s an independent charity that, for more than 30 years, has developed and delivered play and leisure for disabled children and young people across Surrey and Hampshire. At every Challengers play and youth centre, disabled children and young people feel that they belong, are safe, have fun and can make friends. There are lots of enthusiastic staff so that children and young people will always have someone to play and be with. The wide range of activities Disability Challengers provide means that they can offer young disabled people something to do and somewhere special to go from the age of 2 to 25.
