LOCATION Located off Rydens Way in Old Woking, a short distance south of Woking Town Centre. Old Woking is steeped in history and whilst there were many houses built in the 1930’s and 50’s some remaining timber framed buildings date back to the 1600’s. Parts of the St Peters Church in Church Street are believed to date from the 1100’s. The High Street provides a range of shops and mini market along with a aselection of pubs and restaurants. Schooling in Kingfield and Old Woking is within a minutes walk including St John the Baptist Secondary School (Catholic), Kingfield Schools age 3 – 11 and Woking 6th Form College is equally convenient. The A3 at Send and Ripley is about 3 and 5 miles respectively. Recreational facilities include the ‘Pool in the Park’, leisure centre, new community centre, Hoebridge golf course, Woking Park and the River Wey all within walking distance.
DIRECTIONS FROM WOKING Take the A320 towards Guildford, branch left into Claremont Avenue onto the A247 Kingfield Road. At the mini-roundabout by Sainsburys mini market, take the 1st exit into High Street. Then 1st left into Shackleford Road, which leads into Rydens Way.
