A-Z Speaker List A-E Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE, Space Scientist and Broadcaster Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE is a space scientist whose passion is presenting science to a general audience. Her BBC 2 programme ‘Do We Really Need the Moon?’ earned Maggie the talkback Thames new talent award. She is currently Presenter of BBC 4’s ‘Sky at Night’. Maggie studied at Imperial College where she obtained her degree in Physics and PhD in Mechanical Engineering.

Jorge Asensio López, Product Manager and Alternative Propulsions Business Lead for UK & Ireland, IVECO Jorge has covered various roles for IVECO, managing the TCO products portfolio, as well as connectivity and repair and maintenance services for the brand. He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Denise Beedell, Public Policy Manager, Logistics UK Denise joined Logistics UK in August 2018 from the Federation of Small Businesses, where she was Development Manager for Greater London and led on Transport, Environment and Crime policy issues in the capital. She helps to deliver Logistic UK’s urban and environmental logistics policy agenda, in particular its policy work on vans.

Tim Campbell, Managing Director Campbells Consultancy Tim has over 35 years’ experience exclusively working in the light and heavy commercial vehicle sector on a global scale, helping many of the household names from OEM’s, Tier 1 and finance institutions his consultancy and training company operates around the world offering insights into the various aspects of the commercial vehicle sector, particularly looking at the autonomy, connectivity and zero emission vehicles. Tim holds Galileo Master Certificate in Electric Vehicles from the European Energy Centre. Speeches and moderator engagements in the last 12 months include Urban Freight Alexandra Palace London, CV Show Chennai India, Green Truck Show Indianapolis USA and CV Forum Pune India.

David Cebon, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Director of the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight, Centre for Sustainable Road Freight, University of Cambridge David Cebon, PhD, FREng, FIMechE is the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight. He is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in Cambridge University Engineering Department. Professor Cebon has authored or co-authored many papers on dynamics, safety, manoeuvrability and fuel consumption of heavy vehicles. He has also published on road and bridge response and damage, and advanced suspension design for heavy vehicles. Prof Cebon has been the Principal Investigator of numerous EPSRC grants and other projects from sponsors including Innovate UK and from EU and US sources.
