NAME: Juliyat Jojo

Juliyat is a promising Year 10 student who describes Sheahan as an inclusive and compassionate community. She explains the importance of the school as a place where students are exposed to multiple opportunities and are encouraged to be their best self. Juliyat is an active member of the SRC and is training for Peer Support Leader, as well as having prior experience in the Youth Mission Team which she states are opportunities for herself to help other students be included and welcomed to the supportive environment provided by James Sheahan.

Having a passion for taking initiative, Juliyat participates in extracurricular activities such as the School Production and Choir, and has been an Altar Server in the Parish Ministry. She encourages students to take advantage of opportunities as it helps develop their skills and talents while making new friends.

Juliyat talks about her goals for the upcoming year including becoming Peer Support Leader, academic achievements and maintaining her solid group of friends where they can support each other. After graduating, she plans on having a Gap Year in organisations like NET Ministries where she can further nurture her faith. We commend Juliyat for her strong set of beliefs, being inclusive, compassionate and supportive.
