James Sheahan students set to Rock, March 17–18

James Sheahan Catholic High School’s are bringing one the world’s favourite rock theatricals, We Will Rock You – the Musical, to the Orange Civic Theatre on March 17 and 18.

Written by legendary rock band, Queen, and comedian/author/playwright Ben Elton, We Will Rock You tells the story of a dystopian world 300 years in the future and the young bohemians desperate to “break free” from global corporate domination of Killer Queen and finally bring back the music.

Featuring Queen’s best-loved hits, including ‘We Are The Champions’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ and ‘Radio Ga Ga’, We Will Rock You is guaranteed to blow your mind.

“The kids are very excited, it’s coming up quickly and they’re all working really hard,” James Sheahan teacher and show producer, Emily Bell, said.

Student’s normally produce a show every second year, but COVID cancelled their last planned performance, she said

“So this is our first one for four years,” explained Emily, “They’re very excited to get back on the scene and have a live audience.”
