In July 2010 Taylor’s University was rated as ‘Tier 5: Excellent’ by the Ministry of Higher Education in the 2009 Malaysian Qualifications Agency Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions which measures quality of teaching and learning at the undergraduate level in universities and university colleges in Malaysia. In 2012, the quality of teaching and learning at Taylor’s University was once again acknowledged as a ‘Tier 5: Excellent’ rating for the second time. Winning the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Gold Award for two consecutive years - 2011 and 2012, an award that demonstrates true consumer trust through an independent survey, also illustrated Taylor’s solid place in the hearts of many Malaysians. Achieving Trusted Brands status is a genuine recognition of consumers’ approval as the survey reflects consumers’ choice of their most trusted and favourite brands among the thousands available in the market. Today, Taylor’s continues to play a strong role in developing Malaysia’s human resource capital, and boasts a 70,000-strong alumnus, many of whom have become leaders in their respective fields.
