AIESEC Taylor’s University has been creating positive impact in society for the past 10 years. Projects related to Environment, HIV/AIDS, human trafficking and others are milestones that we have achieved in creating a better tomorrow for our world.

Why Social Grooves? 1.

Learn how to promote social change utilizing social media to build up Non-Government Organizations (NGO)s in Malaysia to better expand the outreach of their social work nationally and internationally.

Mentored by experts to help build a professional presence that will impact NGOs' social work positively through social engagement in various digital channels.

Inspire people through social media and turn that inspiration into tangible output to solve society's problems.


Detailed Job Description BACK END DEVELOPER INTERN

Design and develop several platform features. Make web pages and applications for Social Grooves NGOs community. Develop social media-like platform for the charitable industry.

MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER INTERN

Create an introduction video for Social Grooves NGOs that presents the social impact they are trying to create. Create and introduction video for social platform. Create highlight videos of Social Grooves NGOs social work.

FRONT END DEVELOPER INTERN

Create new design for Social Grooves NGOs’ websites. Be directly involved in work related on Social Grooves’ volunteering platform.

EP Challenge

Interns were given the opportunity to join in on various LC activities, such as Member Recruitment Drive, Sports Day, and various others which were held throughout the exchange period.

EPs were challenged to use Bahasa Melayu to communicate with students from Taylor’s University and solve simple questions that were given to them.

Internship Details • EPs need to pay RM200 as EP Fee that includes EP Reception, EP Buddy Servicing, Incoming Preparation Seminar, EP Welcoming Goodies & City Tour. • Accommodation is provided. • Internet access is available in the office. Interns are advised to purchase data plan for Internet access outside the office. • Food is NOT provided. Average cost per meal is RM5 - RM10. • Transportation is NOT provided but public transport is easily accessible. • Personal workspace is granted by Incitement in the office. • Arrival & departure support will be provided by AIESEC Taylor’s University. • Interns are advised to have travel insurance ready and available for use.

• Working times are from 10.00 AM-6.00 PM on weekdays (May have events that’ll happening on weekends that interns need to be involved) • Total working hours per week: 45 hours.
