LaTrice Martin-Gault is President of Save Your Properties, Inc. (SYP) and founder of ‘The School of Financial Transformation (SOFT),’ Since 1996, SYP has rescued over ten thousand clients from foreclosure and provided them with life-changing services. In 2012, her company reached a 99.5% success rate. Her long-term goal is to change national foreclosure laws. With over 16 years experience in the banking industry, Martin-Gault has been a banker, loan officer, mortgage broker, foreclosure expert, and currently— TRANSFORMER. She was inspired to start her own company as a result of experiences with foreclosure on a home inherited from her grandmother. God gave her the exact outline for how to run her business through her personal experience and serving the people in her community. She saw the need for her programs in lower socioeconomic communities that could not afford SYP’s services. The desire to service all people gave birth to ‘The School of Financial Transformation Program’ which is a twelve month financial literacy class that serves as the foundation to SYP. In January 2009, she began the monthly ‘Break the Silence of Foreclosure Town Hall Meetings’ to join forces with the Christian Community and bring awareness about foreclosure. The meetings received support from several city council members and civic leaders. It was highlighted on KHOU 11 News, Fox 26 News, UPN’s Black Voices, and TBN’s Joy In Our Town, and received community service award recognition from ‘Warriors for Christ Ministries.’ She travels state-wide speaking at events to share her knowledge, experience, and testimonies about the foreclosure industry. In 2011 Martin-Gault self-published her second book “Does Anybody Want To Be Transformed”, which is the textbook used in her classes offered through SYP and SOFT. LaTrice, a native Houstonian, currently attends the University of Phoenix pursuing a degree in Finance and will begin law school in 2014.
