Tony Whitaker is founder, president and CEO of FSI Construction and Foundation Specialists, Inc. Tony is a proud graduate of Texas Southern University Jones School of Business with a degree in Business Administration marketing concentration. FSI is now celebrating its 10th year in operation and Foundation Specialists is celebrating its 14th year with offices in Austin, Dallas, and Houston and San Antonio. Tony has served on the Houston Apartment Association (HAA) Board of Directors since 2005. He also serves on the Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation board, HAA PAC Steering Committee and National Apartment Association alternate delegate. FSI & Foundation Specialists, Inc. are members of the Texas Roofing Contractors Association & Foundation Repair Association of America with certifications State of Texas HUB, City of Houston MBE/SBE, Texas Board of Licensing Mold Remediation & Houston Minority Supplier Development Council. Today his companies combined provide multifamily, commercial, institutional and select residential interior build-outs, redevelopment, design-build, capital improvements, due diligence, foundation repair, rehab, roofing, exterior painting, due diligence, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, fire restoration, reconstruction, disaster recovery and renovation services throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Georgia, Arkansas and beyond. Tony’s list of accolades include HAA President’s Award, HAA Supplier of the Year award, TAA Olin Steele nominee, has served on the Houston Apartment Association Board of Directors since 2005 and has been recognized for his contributions to the Houston & Texas Apartment Association Community Outreach. His companies sponsor needy families as a means of giving back to the community. Tony and his wife, Karen of 22 years have two children, Amber and Anthony, Jr. both attending LSU.
