Backstroke to School!

I hope everyone is having an entertaining and restful summer! As the school year draws closer, let’s continue to involve our clubs in services and prepare for the fun-filled season of recruiting new members. Ninja turtles, let’s backstroke to school in high spirits and be ready for all of our upcoming events. I can’t wait to hang out with

everyone during the Region 13 Beach Cleanup to kickstart August. See ya then!

Recycling Drive

Temple City

Engaging in our Bee Clean SOSP of July, Temple City Key Club has partnered up with Division 10 North for their annual recycling drive! On July 15th at Temple City Park from 12-6 pm, the community can drop off their recyclables as our members sort and donate the recyclables. We are working toward providing more services for our members to get ahead and are looking at a fun filled July with all of our five services! From annual city collaborations such as Camp-A-Palooza and Concerts at the Park, we are excited to connect

with our community and provide service wherever we can. We are also hosting a Yogurtland dine out on July 21st to help raise funds for our members in the upcoming school year! Currently, we have ongoing applications due on the 20th and can’t wait to see all those that are interested in participating and being a Ninja Turtle!

July DCM: Terrific Turtle Times

D10N X D10S

On July 13th, Division 10 North, in collaboration with Division 10 South, hosted their July DCM at Almansor Park. Members arrived and checked in with their Executive Assistants before being split into teams by Lieutenant Governor Oralee and the four EAs. The teams then participated in a series of fun round-robin games, each led by one of the EAs. Jaylee from Division 10 North led a Photo Race activity, Sophia of D10N organized a Human Knot game, Devin from D10S hosted a playful twist on Simon Says called "Devin Says," and Jenny of D10S facilitated skits.

Members had a blast, participating in a wide range of activities while bonding with their teams. After the games, everyone came together for a chalk drawing session. Members showcased their creativity by drawing Ninja Turtles and Blue Turtles as either besties or rivals. The winning group's artwork was featured on both divisions' Instagram pages. The day was filled with fun, creativity, and Key Club spirit—an exciting way for members to connect and engage with one another!
