Spirit Sessions

picturesque gazebo at Temple City Park or under the glowing street lights of Sunnyslope Park, united in their excitement for the big event.
Throughout October, Division 10 North hosted Spirit Sessions to gear up for Fall Rally South. Held at various parks across the Division, members gathered in lively settings like the Our dedicated spirit coordinators, Evan Alameddine and Sienna Chi, unveiled cheers they had been perfecting since May, delivering an energetic and engaging experience for all attendees.
Over the course of the two hours sessions, members enthusiastically learned foundational cheers like “How Do You Feel,” alongside a revamped Remix cheer that replaced the one used for several years, and a variety of creative compliment cheers.
In addition, the spirit coordinators taught the round one and round two cheers, used during Fall Rally at our Rally Session. Perfecting and practicing our cheers, the division showcased passionate spirit, in hopes of making it to round two and winning the spirit key! The energy and camaraderie were palpable, leaving
everyone feeling motivated and ready for the challenges ahead. Spirit Sessions set the tone for an unforgettable Fall Rally season, sparking excitement and unity within the Division.
Fall Rally South
On November 9th, Division 10 North participated in year! Held at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, the event celebrated spirit, service, and fundraising achievements. The day began early, with members gathering at 6:00 a.m. at ReNew Methodist Church in South Pasadena. After boarding the bus, they arrived at the park by 8:00 a.m., where they received purple wristbands, essential for entry into the Gearworks Theater for the rally session at 3:30 p.m.
Members enjoyed free time from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., exploring the park and preparing for the exciting session ahead. At 2:45 p.m., they gathered to secure seats in the theater, greeted by their enthusiastic Lieutenant Governor, Brandon Yan, who led them in the "How Do You Feel" cheer and introduced their new Remix Cheer. The rally began with six divisions showcasing their spirit. Division 10 North’s Ninja Turtles brought their signature energy, despite being one of the smaller groups. They proudly announced that they had raised $846 for charity by Fall Rally, a remarkable achievement. Although they didn’t advance to the second round, their passion and dedication were undeniable. Small but mighty, Division 10 North embodied the heart of Key Club with their unwavering enthusiasm and community pride!
Thanksgiving Food Drive
Marshall Fundamental
From November 4th to November 15th, Marshall
Fundamental hosted a Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive to support those in need during the holiday season. Members were encouraged to donate canned goods, which would be used to assemble abundant Thanksgiving baskets for families in the community. The drive offered a unique incentive: for every 5 cans donated, members earned 1 service hour, with a maximum of 2 hours for 10 or more cans.
This initiative not only provided a meaningful opportunity for members to give back but also emphasized the spirit of generosity and community care. The food drive was a rewarding experience, allowing participants to make a positive impact while spreading holiday cheer.
