Official November Update

Happy Thanksgiving everyone--I hope you are all enjoying the holiday, eating lots of yummy food, and relaxing with friends/family. I know it has been forever since I last sent out an Official Update but thank you in advance for putting up with me and being patient. I know you don't want an extremely long, dull message to read through so I'll keep this nice and short. There's only a few things that need to be covered before you can all return to your festivities.

DECEMBER DCM 

The next Division Council Meeting will be held on Saturday, December 17th from 11:30AM 2:00PM. The location is TBA, but there will be FOOD PROVIDED.

We'll be covering the Dues Report, Candidate Training Conference, Fall Rally Recap, District Convention (DCON), applying for Awards/Contests, etc.

I know that for many of you, the 17th is the start of your Winter Recess but it is still important to keep up with what's happening. Please try to tell me AHEAD OF TIME whether or not you can make it (I know you may have family plans).

DIVISION SHIRTS 

Many of the clubs have NOT PAID for all the shirts they ordered. Please set up a time/place for me to pick up the shirt money if you haven't done so already.

If your club absolutely CANNOT meet up, it is MANDATORY to attend the December DCM. This is the FINAL DATE to pay for shirts. NO EXCUSES.

If your club is ordering MORE SHIRTS, please contact me to set up a time/place to pick up the shirt money and also send me a list of your order (## Smalls, ## Mediums, ##Larges, etc.)

If you are placing a shirt order, you will receive the shirts at the December DCM. I NEED to receive your money by November 29th since I will be placing orders November 30th.

CANDIDATE TRAINING CONFERENCE (CTC) 

Candidate Training Conference (CTC) is for Key Club Members who are interested in being a candidate/potential candidate for an office above the club level.

As the Key Club year draws closer to an end, it's time for me to start looking for a potential LTG for 2012-2013. Please pass this on to your club and see if there's anyone who's interested in running.

The CTC will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2011 but there is a registration process. Talk to me for more information!

DUES, DUES, DUES 

Please turn them in if you haven't done so already! The deadline is December 1st--which is in a few days. Remember the dues must be RECEIVED by this date.

Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions on submitting your club dues!

OFFICER SUBMISSIONS 

I know it's easy to slack off, but I want to remind you all that you still have to turn in your submissions--this includes articles, MRFs, photos, etc.

Presidents/Vice Presidents: You have articles due by the 15th of every month at 6:00PM. As a reminder, Presidents should write an article about a club project/event/fundraiser and Vice Presidents should write about a Member of the Month.

Secretaries: The MRF is due from the 1st to the 5th of every month. Try to get it in by the 1st, but if not, you MUST turn it in by the 5th at 6:00PM. I need these reports to compile the hours, service projects, etc. into the bigger, division MRF.

Editors/Historians/Photographers: You have photos showcasing your respective clubs due by the 18th of every month at 6:00PM. You may turn in anywhere from 1-10 photos. Please remember to label them or state what project/event they are from in the message.

That's all for this update. It wasn't too bad, was it? Now I know I usually do unofficial shout outs to individuals at the bottom of my updates, but... 

Thank you to ALL OF YOU for all your hard work and effort this past month. It made me so extremely proud to see everything come together at Fall Rally and to see each and every one of you cheer with that much spirit. I'm really fortunate to have such a supportive team of members and I'm glad my last Fall Rally was spent with the group of you. I <3 D19N.

-Constantly in Service,
