Next stop: 2023!!!
Hello Key Clubbers! It is “New year, New me” season and Division 27 North has so much plan for this upcoming year. I hope all have a wonderful winter break and enjoy the next days to come.
In this editor’s note,
I will be talking about.. Well more like yearning how this Key Club year was special to me and how I hope our same traditions goes on whenever the seniors graduate. If any of you guys aren’t familiar already, I am a class of 23 Senior and this is my fourth year of Key Club. My time here was very honorable as I got to meet so many encouraging, friendly grizzlies around me, knowing there are so many who care about our community. Service is such a crucial part of being a D27N Grizzly and one advice I would recommend is take advantage in all opportunities you are offered with. During my time I had the same sayings: “I should’ve went to this Key Club event” or. “Let’s try new things”. Both of those sayings do sound opposing, however, help me know my position or what I should do next time. This advice also is not strictly just towards Key Club, but for everything you do. That also introduces my New Year's resolution to make it my all this year, cherishing grizzlies the most before I leave off to the busiest year of my lifetime (college and adulting BOO HOO).
One of my top goals this summer is getting to know each Grizzly individually, creating bonds as much as possible. Although I won’t be super active as I was last term, I will still be at many Division events as possible. I always love meeting new people, so please if you see me around, give a quick wave. I promise I don’t bite. This is all the content I have about my personal life for today… and this month. For more of my personal content and getting to know me better, make sure to follow me on Instagram @stellamiiko! Do not be afraid to message me on any platforms, I promise I won’t bite, I just want to be a friend!!
Happy New Years, Grizzlies!
It is officially 2023. In a blink of an eye, we have concluded 2022. Looking back, I think that last year was probably the best year of my life. I was able to have such mind-blowing experiences through this club, like being installed as your Lieutenant Governor!
If I am being quite honest, I experienced a very big period of burnout towards the end of the year and I felt very saddened by this. With this new year, it is an opportunity for me to turn over a new leaf, a new page, and take more initiative to combat the mindset that held me back from evolving into the best version of myself that I could be. If this is an experience that you might have had, Grizzly, I encourage you to make 2023 your year!
I am very proud of what our Division has accomplished thus far. According to the MRF, we have made much more progress on our service and fundraising goals (woooo)! This month, please look forward to preparing for our final Grizzlies on Ice to conclude this winter season. We are also in the process of preparing our prospective LTG candidates…PSA:
I AM GIVING BIRTH TO A BABY
CUB LTG SOON! I am so excited to see who will be next in line to lead our Division into great heights. Make this school semester count, make more memories with your friends doing service, and finish off the term strong. We have just four more months with each other until I retire, and I promise you all that I will work harder to make it a memorable four months for our Division.
