TIME TO GRUB ON SOME TURKEY!!!! It is ThanksgivingseasonandthereissomuchI am thankful for! I am thankful for my friends, family, and most importantly… THE GRIZZLIES. Y’all are amazing and so hardworking, don’tforgettotakeabreak!
I will be talking about a recap of THIS YEARS FRN!!!! Let me just start off with saying I love all of you. All the spirit and practice with the cheers really paid off. I can tell some are participating in Spirit Training Conferences and Division Council Meetings. I loved how everyone was all geared up, ready to knock out people with our loud ROAR!!! So proud to get past round one at the rally, having our sister division (Division 27 South) take the huge W! I even got some pictures with the KEYuties!!! I also receive so many comments about my spirit stick and I love all the support! I am very sad this is my last year enjoying such a key club tradition of mine. I do not regret my time with the grizzlies all 3 years!
One of my top goals this summer is getting to know each Grizzly individually, creating bonds as much as possible. Although I won’t be super active as I was last term, I will still be at many Division events as possible. I always love meeting new people, so please if you see me around, give a quick wave. I promise I don’t bite. This is all the content I have about my personal life for today… and this month. For more of my personal content and getting to know me better, make sure to follow me on Instagram @stellamiiko! Do not be afraid to message me on any platforms, I promise I won’t bite, I just want to be a friend!!
Welcome to the month of November! October was such a roller coaster of a month but now that it has concluded, I would say that I am grateful for the humbling experiences and wonderful memories that I have made. We had a great time at the October DCM where I saw so many new faces; almost 200 of our Members were able to scream our hearts out at Six Flags at Fall Rally North; and I turned 17 just the last week of October. We were able to accomplish a milestone of reaching out $2000 PTP goal! I am saddened that my favorite month of the year has concluded but I am so excited imagining what great things November will bring for us.

As this month begins, I want to provide some gentle reminders for everyone and some words of encouragement. I know that this month will be extremely hectic for many of our seniors (including myself) with college applications. As you are doing your best to finish up your college applications and mapping out more of your future, please remember to take care of yourselves. I understand the feeling of burning out, and I would not want that to occur to you either. Don’t be guilty when you need to take breaks. Schedule days for you to step away from Key Club, school, and your other obligations and spend time doing things that you love with people that you love. Take a walk, sing a song, take your beauty nap, play a few rounds of games with your friends…Be gentle with yourself and remember that you have to balance work and play delicately.
Members, Officers and Advisors, thank you for all of your diligence and hard work for the last few months of the term. We are essentially halfway through with the term. This month, I am really urging you all to focus on maintaining your member retention which usually drastically declines after Fall Rally North. Membership dues should be collected and be prepared to be submitted. The early-bird deadline is November 1st, and then on-time deadline is December 1st. I expect you all to be submitting your checks by no later than the second to last week of November. It is important you are proactive about these deadlines because you also have to consider the amount of time it takes for a check to be produced by your District and for the check to be physically received by Key Club. Once again, if you ever have any questions about ANYTHING, please remember that the Division Leadership Team, your Officers from other Clubs and I are all resources to you! We are here to support you and your Membership.
I am BEE-YOND proud of how much our Division has accomplished so far. I am very grateful to call this Division my home and my Grizzly pack. I will be swamped with college applications for the next few weeks, but I promise that I will do my best to continue fulfilling my role as your Lieutenant Governor.
With bear hugs,
