WALNUT ELEMENTARY CARNIVAL The annual Walnut Carnival was held at Walnut Elementary School. There were games, food, and prizes for the kids. This inter-club event was excellent for everyone to catch up with old friends and also meet new ones. As the gate opened, I could see the excited faces on the children as they trotted over to the games. Three other Key Clubbers and I supervised a game booth where golf balls were aimed for the middle partition. The middle section was colored black and worth three stamps. The other sections were colored yellow and worth one stamp. Kids queued up to roll, or in some cases, throw the golf balls and try to win stamps. Many kids were able to make impressive bank shots that bounced from wall to wall. But some kids were not so lucky to roll the balls in. Fortunately, no one cried but rather everyone went to line up for another turn. Overall, it warmed my heart to see parents and their children bonding together.

APRIL DCM Our D35E collaborated with D35W and Goldstone Kiwins to host our April DCM to commemorate the unity among three divisions. It was also a service event since we made cards and decorated Easter eggs for children in hospitals. As I walked to the herd/pod/congregation, I saw a ton of people intermingling with each other. I was eager to see many new faces in the other divisions and in our own division. Merchandise and food were sold, and plastic Easter eggs and art supplies were distributed. After the fun Icebreakers, we dispersed into our divisions. Lieutenant Governor Daniel sounded the bell and the meeting started. We took care of old business and then moved on to new business. This month was special as it not only marked the beginning of the 2019-2020 term, but it also introduced the new 2019-2020 Division Leadership Team. I am ecstatic to see our new leaders and I hope that they will lead our division to new levels of success!
