The annual UCLA Craniofacial Picnic was held on July 27, 2019, at the UCLA Sunset Canyon Recreation Center. This is one of the most diverse Kiwanis Family events, with Division 35 West, Goldstone Kiwin's, Crystal Kiwin's, Circle K, and Kiwanis in attendance! We helped set-up EZ-Ups, fill sandbags at the local fire station, and clean up the entire event. During the late afternoon, we got to play games with some of the craniofacial patients! I met so many different people from all the branches of the K-fam at this event last year, and it was amazing to see some of them again this year! I highly recommend this event for anybody who is looking for a way to get service hours and have fun in the sun at UCLA with their friends! I'll definitely be back next year, and hopefully, I'll see you there too! PS: There's a bouncy house, and yes we can play in it! - Diamond Bar Member Relations Chairperson, Alicia Kuo

Friday, July 12th, was a very memorable day. Members of Northview Key Club got to get a glimpse of what went on behind the scenes of a play. They made sure that everyone in the play changed into their costumes and helped them with whatever they needed. We folded programs, set up tables for snacks, and once it was showtime we distributed the programs with a warm welcome. After everyone had taken their seats, we sat down as well to watch the kids perform while other members of Key Club were the backstage crew. They helped with the stage lights, soundtracks, and anything necessary to make the play a success. After the play was over, we all came together to help put the chairs back on the racks. -
