I still cannot wrap my head around all the memories I will now forever cherish. Walking in, not knowing what to expect but definitely receiving way more than I bargained for. Whether it was the amount of spirit seen by all the regions that made up the CNH district, or a room full of people all passionate for service coming together to celebrate everyone’s achievements in the past term, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. As I had watched general sessions given to educate the audience more about the CNH district, I was absolutely astonished by speeches that were given by people, some not much older than me. To see the way that Key Club has shaped

these once general members and officers, into now full grown leaders that inspire those around them has truly moved me to aspire to be like them one day. I was absolutely honored to have worked with the Creative Media Team for DCON. Whether it was taking videos or photos of talent show performances, speeches, or the audience’s spirit, we were all happy to even be able to capture all these memories into one. As we all bonded in the short amount of time we had together, I saw that Key Club isn’t only a club for community service. Key Club is a family of people that all have a burning passion for helping others.
In the words of IP Convention Chair Hilary Wong, “This will be an experience that will carry you beyond high school”. This is definitely an experience I will keep in my heart forever.

Laying on my bed on the night of March 31, 2022, I thought, “This is it”. It was the moment we had all been waiting for ever since the start of the term, and for some, even longer. It was the first time for many members to attend an inperson District Convention! The following day on April 1st, 2022, Division 35 boarded a bus for a 10-hour ride to the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. After arriving, our LTG, Chloe Hartanto, happily greeted us and helped us check into our rooms. Then, it was official; District Convention had officially started! There were many workshops for us to attend, hosted by LTGs, District
and general sessions to learn more about Key Club. We even had AJ Rafael perform for us via Zoom! We wore business attire on the second day, where some of us attended more education sessions, while those of us who signed up as delegates attended the Caucus session and House of Delegates to vote on the new District Board and bylaw amendments. Noah Molina, Bonita Key Club President, says, “My favorite part about DCON was listening to all the valuable leadership lessons taught in the workshops and taking in every second to become a greater leader.” As we were approaching the end
time dancing, singing, and playing board games! After a fun night with everyone, we headed back to our rooms to rest up for the next day. In the blink of an eye, it was already the third and final day of DCON. This was the day where we all shed tears and said our goodbyes. The old officers, LTGs and District Executives officially retired, and officer elects, LTG elects and the new District Board were officially installed! It was a bittersweet moment for all of us. After attending the very last general session, District Convention was officially adjourned, and we all prepared to take off and head back home. We had another
Executives, and Kiwanians. With Day 1 being spirit attire, we all went all out in our spirit gear and attended workshops
of day 2, we all dressed up and prepared for Governor’s Ball! There were a variety of activities to do, so we all had a good
10 hour bus ride back, but this time, it would be with new friends and an unforgettable experience.

COVINA BA Covina Key Club would like to express their gratitude to the Ellies for a great term full of laughter, entertainment, and life-long memories! Our gorgeous banquet, presented by the Key Club Officers for the term of 2021-2022 was our final event. We had a larger participation than planned, and everyone had a wonderful time. Mini games, music, a lot of food, beautiful decorations, heartfelt speeches, and the installation
of our new officers for the term 20222023 were all part of the festivities. We all reflected back on our hard work and accomplishments this term during the banquet! We were able to increase our club membership to over 50 members, raise hundreds of dollars for PTP, and volunteer hundreds of hours in the community, and we couldn’t have done it without the help and devotion of our key clubbers. As the Key Club president

EASTER EGG By: Mary Moreno, Nogales
STRAVANGANZA
On April 9th a few of our members came out to help out our Kiwanis at the Easter Eggstravanganza. Our members worked at an arts and crafts booth and assisted kids decorate their own Easter masks! It was wonderful getting to be a part of an event that brought joy and smiles to families. Not only did it give our members a chance to help out our community but gave the opportunity to meet
other key clubbers while having fun! One of our members, Giancarlo De Leon said , “It was a great opportunity to help out families wanting to spend quality time with each other during the season of easter. it also gave me lots of nostalgia seeing all those kids with their parents having fun and doing activities with one another.” The Easter Eggstravanganza was a great way to serve our community!
