Letter from the LTG
What’s spooky Narwhals? It’s fall season, the weather is slowly getting colder, and Halloween is coming up! Can you believe we are already halfway through the term? It’s so crazy to think about but we still have so much to achieve! Fall rally is soon to come! Make sure to tell all your friends to go to Fall Rally and attend the spirit sessions so we have a better chance of winning the spirit stick! It’s been a dream for the division and so hope this is the year when this dream comes true! I am so proud of the accomplishments that we have reached thus far. We are extremely close to our PTP goal of $4,000 and beat our DCM attendance record of last year with around 70 members at the October DCM! Narwhals, you amaze me everyday and I am beyond proud. Continue to work hard and achieve your goals whether it’s school or Key Club! See you soon Narwhals!

CLUB RECAP
Agoura High School
This month, the leadership of Agoura's Key Club recruited new members at Club Rush. It was quite successful and we received many signatures. We also hosted our first meeting recently where we spoke to attendees about what Key Club is and the many events that go along with it. We hope to retain many members for the whole year and also increase involvement from our club.

CLUB RECAP
Simi Valley High School
In September, we had a month filled with Key Club Events! On September 16, we volunteered at the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, where we helped hand out medals to the finishers! We even saw Ellie Kemper, which made waking up early more worth it. Members also had a chance to volunteer at the Senior Awards Night, and attend the PTP Doll Making service project hosted by Santa Su!

Club Rush! Key Club Rush was a success! Even though many people signed up for Key Club during mini club rush, 105+ students signed on to join Key Club this time. We are all very excited to see new faces in our meetings. We hope that everyone that signs up will attend our meetings and attend all the district events to show off our Royal Spirit!

College Fair! On September 12th Royal hosted the Simi Valley annual College Fair! Our Key Clubbers helped set up for the event as well as helping with the check-In tables for all the students. Some other Key Clubbers went around helping parents and students get to the college seminars. The college Fair provided many with vital information to their future and provided us Key Clubbers a chance to step in to help out!

CLUB RECAP
Oak Park High School
On September 29, 2018 MarvelTC was held at Oxnard High School. It was an amazing event, and my first time presenting; I presented on Public Speaking with Kyle Yasui. Training conferences always leave me drained because of the immense amount of screaming and talking that I do throughout the day, and I still have no voice. It was amazing to get some new members to join in and come to the training event. There was also community service in the form of making bookmarks, which was awesome. This was definitely a great kick off for the fall season!

CLUB RECAP
Oak Park High School For the Tifa & Gelato fundraiser, my dad, little brother, and I went to the Tifa Chocolate & Gelato shop in Agoura Hills and ordered two ice creams and a root beer float, and the money was donated toward the Pediatric Trauma Program. Pediatric trauma affects children my age (fourteen) and under and is one of the main causes of death of children. So while I enjoyed eating the delicious ice cream at Tifa’s, the aspect I most enjoyed was the feeling I got knowing that at least a little bit of the money spent is going toward a cause that affects so many children’s lives.

Kiwanis Family Day Bowling Event For this month we found that having fun and raising funds was right up our ALLEY. Our Key Club attended the Kiwanis Day Bowling Event where they spent a day meeting new people and bowling. Not only was it fun, but all proceeds were given to the Pediatric Trauma Program. Our president, Lizbeth, said, “I was fortunate to attend Kiwanis Family Day last year as well, and it is always refreshing to see so many K-Kids eager to make a difference in their community. Spending the time with Kiwanis, Key Club, and Circle K, truly reminded me how connected our family is through caring and inspiring the youth.

Ventura County Rescue Mission For the month of September a few of our members went to the Ventura County Rescue Mission. This is where volunteers set up tables and serve dishes to people in a rehabilitation program and later on, the homeless people of the area. They also help with making food and cleaning up afterwards. It is always a wonderful and gratifying event that is vital to our Key Club.
