Letter From The Lieutenant Governor
What’s Poppin Narwhals?! I hope all of your summers have been going great so far! The heat is doubling down every day so make sure to stay cool and hydrated. Moving on, I would like to thank you all for attending the our Avengers Assemble August DCM! Throughout your busy schedules and summer break, the fact that you take time for Key Club is always greatly appreciated. There were plenty of great presentations to learn from and I hope you all took something away from each of them.

Now that we are done with OTC, we are hopefully going back to events in person starting with our Avengers Assemble August DCM! Check your emails and the Division Instagram for more details on that but get excited!!
Make sure to mark your calendars for the next big event, RTC or Region Training Conference! We are set to have RTC on September 25th, 2021 but the time and venue is still TBD. Stay tuned for more details. We are also going to be announcing the service project for August very soon so make sure you participate in that to rack up those service hours! With that being said, I hope you all stay safe, get vaccinated as soon as possible, and enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hey Narwhals! I hope everyone has had an Thanksgiving and Fall Rally!!!! Thanks to all of you Fall Rally was an amazing success and our division was able to make it to the third round during the spirit session! This wouldn’t have been possible without all you amazing narwhals taking time out of your busy schedule to come cheer with us!! If you missed Fall Rally don’t worry. There will be more fun events coming soon and other great ways to bond with our amazing division. With that being said, have an amazing holiday season. Stay safe and get vaccinated! Newbury Park Hosts an Interclub! D42E - Newbury Park Key Club Editor, Grace Younes
`Hello, fellow Narwhals! This is Grace Younes from Newbury Park High School Key Club! Some of the schools in D42E are having an interclub meeting on December 11th! It will consist of Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Westlake, and Royal High School. Everyone is very excited to get together and bond even further. Some service that we will do there is making keychains and writing letters for UNICEF. There might even be a potluck if enough people volunteer for it. This is a great opportunity for Key Clubbers to individually get to know one another and have a smaller meetup compared to the big D42E DCM’s. Everything should feel a lot more personal!
Simi Valley High Helps Troops Overseas D42E - Simi Valley High School Key Club Editor, Jesna Thomas Another service opportunity that we shared with our Key club members was to make cards and care packages to overseas troops. This service project was partnered with the Red Cross Club at Simi Valley High School. Through this service opportunity, volunteers showed their support to the Armed Forces and thanked them for their service. These cards could have been hand made or made digitally(-and then printed out). Due to these cards being for the armed forces overseas, we collected the cards until November 29th and had over 20 cards. These cards were then added into care packages and sent to the troops!
