Can you believe it? Summer is nearly over and for many of us (me included), our last year in high school is about to begin. I cannot be prouder of the Narwhal Nation and the growth that we have experienced thus far in the term. The Division Leadership Team has been working tirelessly to provide a fun and inspiring experience for the Key Clubbers we serve and I am utterly blown away by the dedication and passion that the Spirit Team has exuded for our division. Look forward to some incredible spirit gear and cheers this fall! In addition, I would like to extend special recognition to Melissa Ea, a Senior from Santa Susana High School Key Club for being appointed College Expo Coordinator for Region 10 Key Club. RTC (Region Training Conference) is still several months away, but it is never too early to begin planning! With that being said, my challenge to all club officers is to hold at least one officer meeting before the summer ends in order to regroup and reinvigorate your passions for service! I would love to attend any officer meetings if merely to listen in and get a better idea of how the division may serve your club. Key Clubbers from three different divisions (D42E, D42W, and Kiwin’s Turquoise Division) arrived at Adolfo Camarillo High School in order to receive training as officers and as general members. Not only did all the members learn something valuable, they also all had a lot of fun! The event began with a general session, followed by a separation of divisions for their individual DCMs. All the Key Clubbers then went to the workshops of their choice. After another general session, the Key Clubbers went head to head against each other in a spirit battle.
