We have a brand new Registration packet and all current students, that will be attending next school year, will be required to re-register! DAS will hold a Registration Event On Saturday March 29th from 1100-1500 in the DAS Multipurpose room on Camp George. We will have a bouncy, community information and involvement, games, and food fundraisers. The registrar will require updated documentation-orders, command sponsorship notification, pcs orders, 700-19s, letters of employment, extension paperwork, updated shots-to include PPD, etc. to accompany the re-registration packets of all students. For Sure Start and new Kindergarten students a Birth Certificate/passport must be shown for original registration only. This is necessary for auditing purposes and helps assist with staffing our schools appropriately. Please come by and register (while the kids are playing and having a good time). If you have a group or organization that would like to participate with us-we welcome you-please call Mrs Lambert at 768-9531 or Ms Hart at 764-5298.

School Age Care / 764-5298/5297 Spring is in the air and we are excited at School Age Care. The air is getting a little warmer and the kids are starting to go outside more, but please don’t forget they still need their coats. Our annual Garden will be underway very soon. We have some exciting new plans for the garden and a few new things for our outdoor classroom space, stay tuned for more to come.
Don’t forget about all of our regular weekly programs, the kids love them and seem to never get tired of them. Power Hour: Power Hour is a dedicated quiet time for children to work on homework together or independently. We also have staff who assist the students with their homework needs. This program is offered Monday-Thursday Movie Madness: Is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is an opportunity for small groups of children to get together with their friends and watch a movie from our movie library 4-H Fridays: Fridays are dedicated to 4-H Clubs. Each SAC child is a member of a 4-H club. This is a chance for our children to learn new skills, develop new interest and grow their leadership abilities. The Book Club will be starting another new book. It's exciting to see these young folks taking initiative and joining these beneficial clubs. No Screen Wednesday: Every Wednesday all computer equipment is turned off. Many of you ask what do the kids do….???? We say, lots of things!!! *We have hourly care space available for families in need of occasional care. These slots fill fast, especially over the holidays; so if you need to reserve a space please do so quickly. 60 FMWR Outlook
