JOGJA IS A CITY AND CAPITAL OF YOGYAKARTA SPECIAL REGION IN JAVA, INDONESIA . IT IS RENOWNED AS A CENTEROF EDUCATION (KOTA PELAJAR).
ONE OF THE DISTRICTS IN YOGYAKARTA IS KOTAGEDE WHICH WAS THE CAPITAL OF THE MATARAM SULTANATE IN 1575 TO 1640.THE CITY NAMED AFTER INDIAN CITY OF AYODHYA FROM THE RAMAYANA EPIC WHICH MEANS “YOGYA” SUITABLE, FIT AND PROPER WHILE “KARTA” MEANS PROSPEROUS, FLOURISHING.
THIS CITY IS RICH WITH CULTURE. SOME OF THE FAMOUS CULTURE ARE BATIK PRODUCTION, SILVERWORK, TRADITIONAL JAVANESE DANCE PERFORMANCE, WAYANG KULIT, AND
GAMELAN.

the city of kota gede strategically located in a wide access of roads and pedestrian route. Surrounded by landed houses and nature as the shades for people to travel. nevertheless, it is proned to earth quake which will need to take consideration for the urban design

Embedded in the aim of this design, the communities will still practicing their culture even they are living in the heart of the city. There are potential cultural values spotted in between houses and the possibilities of injecting urban cultural value into kampong MANGKUbumen are very high. The harmonic convergence is form based on the interlocking of four(4) filled out strategies.

The local residents will be exposed in procedures for to disaster evacuations, how to surviving after disaster and basic knowledge of disaster management (emergency aid process, procedures, ect). The government and ngo’s around the area can communicate in this hub; exchanging ideas and solution to area; thus increase the input of attraction to the area and its liveliness.
DESIGN STRATEGIES pedestrian-friendly is to improve the existing pedestrian footpath as well as to inroduce a new alternative pathways. landscape & open spaces the approach were taken to improve the permeability and for the open public for any occasion. connectivity to provide linkage between spaces/area via footpath or roadways thus expending the network. maximising and provide additional spaces to provide additional spaces without interfering existing structure. to separated spaces for living and activity for privacy purposes
PROGRAMME MECHANISM stage 1 : exposure THROUGH PARTICIPATION COMMUNITY OF KAMPUNG MANGKUBUMEN AND VETEREN ARTIST, ART OF CULTURAL EDUCATION IS BEEN INTRODUCES AND EXPOSED TO THE YOUTH COMMUNITY AND FUTURE GENERATION IN ORDER TO PRESERVETHE CULTURAL ESSENCE OF KOTA GEDE.
CULTURAL EVENTS WILL BE HELD BY THE YOUTH COMMUNITY TO ATTRACT TOURIST AND INVESTOR FOR INVOLVEMENT IN THE PROGRAMME. ALL HANDMADE CRAFTS SUCH AS SILVER WORKS AND BATIK WILL BE EXHIBIT AND BE SELL. GAMELAN STUDIO/TRAINING AREA WILL PROVIDING SERVICE FOR REPAIRING THE INSTRUMENTS. LOCAL FOODS SUCH AS ROTI KEMBANG WARU AS A SIGNATURE FOOD, WILL BE TAUGHT AND SELL AT THE BAAZAR. ALL OF THAT CAN BE USE AS PUBLIC FUNDING TO KAMPUNG MANGKUBUMEN.

stage 4 : beautification TO REIMAGING THE VISUALIZATION OF KAMPUNG MANGKUBUMEN, A NEW FACADE WILL BE iMPLEMENTED TO MAKE THE KAMPUNG MORE LIVELY AND DURABLEIN OVERCOMING THE NATURAL DISASTER. BEAUTIFICATION ALSO BE UNDERGOING THROUGHOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD BY IMPLEMENTING LANDSCAPE, HARDSCAPE AND FACILITIES FOR THE TOURIST AND LOCAL COMMUNITY.

RELAXING VERTEBRATA is an open-space
furniture designed in response to the human spinal cord.This generative-design project is proposed to be positioned an recreational park. It serves as a furniture that allows people who come to the park to sit and relax while enjoy the beauty of nature.
This multipurpose furniture also holds the functions as playing area for children, bicycle parking space and also place where people can gather, hang-out and mingle in order to encourage healthy social

Therefore, relaxing vertebrata is a project that is inspired importance of the human spinal cord while at rest and derived from the best human sitting and resting positions inorder to encourage healthy spinal posture among the users. The physical fortm of the furniture is also evolved from the fluidity shape of the human spinal cord.
It is designed as mentioned before, in response to human best resting positions.The basic fluid pattern is generated from the human spine (as the core). Extrusion and intrusion of the form is done based on to serve its functions in a creative and interesting way and the process is done in both vertical and horizontal manners.
