Recently we undertook a large-scale customer satisfaction survey amongst members. With over 1400 responses we received excellent feedback about how we are going and what we can do to improve our product and services.

Overall satisfaction rated well for Workers Clubs at our three sites – Blacktown, Sports and Hubertus. Many positive comments were made about our hard working and dedicated team and the great customer service they provide.

“You are constantly making improvements, so no real comments. The staff are really lovely.” (Quote from survey by one member).

The main opportunities for improvement were in the areas of:

• Rewards and loyalty program

• Promotions conducted

• Impressions café

We have taken action to improve all of these – including the recent launch of our new Lifestyle Rewards Program and renovations are underway to refurbish and launch the new Blue Gum Café at Workers Blacktown.

Thank you to members who took the time and effort to complete the survey and provide your valuable feedback. It’s much appreciated.

Hello Members,

I hope that you are all well. To all our members and their families that are not well or are in hospital, we wish you all a speedy recovery.

I would like to welcome Tina Maamari as the Welfare Support Officer and she will be helping me with our community welfare.

The Stroke Club had their Christmas in July on the 25 July in the Marana Room. The meal was delicious and a good time was had by all. The Stroke Club meet every Monday from 10am to 12pm. New members are welcome to join in.

We have started a Dementia Support Group which meet fortnightly on Thursdays at Workers Blacktown. Carers and anyone affected by Dementia are very welcome to attend from 10.30am to 12.30pm and join in the activities and talks on level 3.

On behalf of the Club President, Board of Directors, Management and Staff, I wish to extend our sincere sympathy to the families of the following members who have passed away since our last journal.

Yours faithfully

Harold Becker & Tina Maamari
