Happy New Year! I hope that everyone enjoyed the holidays and was able to spend them with family and friends. With the new year comes New Year resolutions. My New Year resolution is to make sure not to take things for granted. Things like our cows, family, friends, and each other. Cows, Caitlyn VanDeusen specifically Holstein cows are what keeps us all together. Our families are what help us grow and they support us throughout all of life’s changes. Our friends who are always there for us when we need them. Finally, we need to be grateful for each other because we are so lucky to be surrounded by people who have similar values, goals, and dreams. After reading this I hope that you don’t take these things for granted. Along with the new year comes one of my favorite things, convention. Convention is a great place to meet new people and connect with those that you haven’t seen in a while. Good luck to everyone competing in contests and congratulations to everyone who has earned awards. I hope that you all have a great beginning to 2022!
