MAGSEALED BALL BEARING

MAGSEALED protection is no longer just for the main shaft and rotor of a reel with MAGSEALED Ball Bearings providing ultimate protection for the most at risk location such as the engine sideplate and line roller. Daiwa’s ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia resulting in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.

LINE COUNTER

There’s no need to guess how much line you’ve got out anymore with Daiwa’s Line Counter letting you know exactly how much line is out. Dropping your lure or bait back down to the right depth to target suspended fish has never been easier.

ANODE PROTECT

An industry first for fishing reels Daiwa’s Anode Protect system installs a replaceable sacrificial zinc anode inside the reel body to further protect key internal parts from the corrosive effects of heavy saltwater use. Anode Protect is continually working to mitigate corrosion and should be replaced after prolonged use. It is simple to replace and can be done easily by yourself.

Perfect Double Stopper consists of a traditional anti-reverse bearing coupled with a back up locking anti- reverse system to give the angler ultimate security when traveling and targeting big fish.
